The Hyundai Seoul Spider-Man Pop-Up Review 2026

An exciting Spider-Man pop-up has opened

at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, so I rushed right over!

The Hyundai Seoul always hosts so many popular pop-ups,

and while booking in advance is recommended for this Spider-Man one,

you can also register on-site to get in.

Since it's an interactive pop-up, even if you're not a Marvel fan,

you'll definitely have an absolute blast.

I love Spider-Man, so I enjoyed it even more! ^^

1. Booking & Waiting Times

​

If you book ahead on Naver Place

for the <Spider-Man: Brand New Day> Friendly Neighborhood Pop-up,

it makes your visit much smoother,

though there was still a short wait even with a reservation.

Because there were so many walk-ins,

they were letting people in alternately.

I booked for 4:00 PM,

but got in around 4:08 PM after they let some walk-ins in first.

Since it's an interactive pop-up,

only a limited number of people enter at a time,

and you complete missions in each room

while listening to explanations from the staff in charge.

What kind of missions were there,

what gifts can you get,

and how awesome are the photo zones?

2. The Mission to Find the Spidey Tracker

A space decorated just like a New York apartment building!

Pop-ups these days are so incredibly realistic

and immersive, making them even more fun to experience.

After reading the letter inside the building's mailbox,

we headed inside to look for clues left by Spider-Man.

The space is styled like Spider-Man's room,

and we were given a mission to hunt down

the Spidey Tracker

just like a scavenger hunt!

So everyone who entered the room together

started opening drawers and lifting up the blankets

to find the tracker, which looks like a smartphone.

And wow! When I went,

someone found it super fast.

Make sure to look closely inside the drawers and bookshelves.

The prize for the fast finder was a postcard!

Haha, the prize is cute, but finding it is where the real fun is!

Next up,

you get a chance to take a snapshot

by looking directly into a camera set up inside a washing machine.

Instead of just staring blankly at the camera,

try holding up the Spidey suit

sitting right by the washing machine entrance

next to your face and strike a pose!

They print the photos for you right on the spot,

making it the perfect little souvenir to take home.

Everyone gets a turn,

so you can all grab a shot!

3. Watch the Spider-Man Video & Join the Event!

Lastly, we watched a Spider-Man video clip

and snapped photos every time Spidey popped up on screen!

It felt like getting a sneak peek

at the "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" movie,

which made it extra exciting! You're free to look around

once the clip ends, but because there's a queue

waiting behind you, you can't linger for too long—

which was a tiny bit of a bummer!

If you upload your photos to social media

(sharing on Instagram Stories works too!),

you can participate in a lucky draw to win awesome merch.

They had Spider-Man postcards, phone grips, stickers,

magnets, and even a popcorn machine (?!).

I got to try twice and scored a postcard and some stickers!

Don't forget to check out the Spider-Man merch zone!

There's a Disney store right next door,

so you can browse some adorable Toy Story merch too.

Epic Seoul on the 5th floor of The Hyundai Seoul

is super easy to find right as you come up the escalator.

Even if you're not a die-hard Spider-Man fan,

it's a blast taking photos. Plus, the staff guides you through,

so you can breeze through the experience without wasting any time!

Though it kicked off as a July pop-up in Seoul,

it runs until early August at The Hyundai Seoul.

Make sure to book your spot in advance via Naver and visit stress-free!

Since the Hyundai Seoul Spider-Man pop-up

lets you get hands-on and take tons of photos,

it makes for a highly satisfying date spot.

When it comes to indoor activities and places to visit in Seoul,

nothing beats a pop-up at The Hyundai Seoul, right?

There's also a South of France Market pop-up happening on the 5th floor,

so it would be perfect to check out at the same time.

Plus, Jellycat has officially opened on the very same floor!

This isn't just a temporary Jellycat pop-up at The Hyundai Seoul.

It's a permanent store!

But making a reservation for Jellycat is still a good idea~
