House of Shinsegae Cheongdam Twelve 2026: Dining & Parking Guide

I recently visited the recently buzzing House of Shinsegae Cheongdam

and its food hall, Twelve.

From wellness food curation that's hard to find elsewhere,

to a diverse range of food, smoothies, beton bread, and more,

it's so vibrantly filled

that you truly get the feeling it's a space

Shinsegae poured their heart and soul into creating.

This spot used to be the SSG Food Market,

so I was thrilled to see it reopen after renovation!

In January, only New Year's Day was closed,

and for February, only Seollal (Lunar New Year) itself is closed!

While free valet parking service is provided,

free parking is only available for a maximum of 3 hours.

Twelve at House of Shinsegae Cheongdam

As you step onto the 1st floor,

an escalator immediately comes into view.

The 2nd floor is Chaum, Cha Hospital's premium wellness center,

while the 1st floor and B1 (basement 1) are dedicated to House of Shinsegae,

each with its own unique offerings.

The 1st floor features Japanese restaurant Homuran and Monologue,

along with various concept stores,

while B1 (basement 1) is the food hall, Twelve.

Before heading downstairs, on the 1st floor,

I noticed a Shinsegae Seollal (Lunar New Year) pop-up happening,

so I decided to check it out first.

The oil & balsamic set

and the Savini Truffle Mini Set No. 2

really caught my eye.

Since Seollal was still some time away,

I had a bit of time,

so I just made a mental note and continued my exploration.

Now, it was time to properly dive into

House of Shinsegae Cheongdam Twelve

so I headed down to B1 (basement 1) to explore!

As soon as I descended,

I was greeted by a high-ceilinged atrium

with a luxurious lounge vibe,

featuring extremely well-appointed table seating,

making a fantastic first impression.

Smoothies at House of Shinsegae Cheongdam

The line for the

Twelve Wonder Bar Smoothies,

currently the hottest item at Twelve,

was indeed long.

The wellness smoothies had a diverse price range,

from the most affordable Coco Sunset at ~$8

to the priciest Ginseng Whispers at ~$20.

Besides smoothies,

they also offered common beverages

like coffee, tea, juice, and matcha lattes,

and the menu prices were quite reasonable.

I was curious and thought about getting one,

but it looked like there were so many other foods to explore

besides the smoothies,

so I decided to skip the smoothie for now

and check out more things before eating!

Next to the Twelve Wonder Bar, where they sold smoothies,

was Twelve Kitchen,

offering everything from simple salads and rolls...

to hot food options that looked

perfectly sufficient for a proper meal.

You could order items à la carte,

or even get a combo of one main + two sides.

The side dishes were also quite diverse,

with options like potato salad, quinoa salad,

and avocado salad,

making it fun to choose!

They also had wood-fired pizza available for order.

After exploring the kitchen, I looked next door

and saw a striking pink vending machine –

none other than the Moët & Chandon Vending Machine!

Its location and sheer presence made many people exclaim,

"Oh, wow? It's Moët & Chandon!"

and snap a photo. Haha.

I'm not sure how much revenue it generates,

but it definitely seems to have a significant branding effect 🤭

The main food market began with the

Fruits Bar,

selling fresh, ready-to-eat fruits,

fruit desserts, and yogurts.

From this point on,

there was so much to see that my eyes kept wandering,

and it was hard to keep my wallet in check! Haha.

There was also an entire section dedicated to olive oils,

showcasing a truly incredible variety of

olive oils from various parts of Europe.

I even found the delicious

**Tête de Moine Rosette cheese** and **Jamon** that I enjoyed so much in Spain!

Of course, the prices were much higher than in Europe,

so I didn't end up buying them 🥲

I had read an article that the overall VMD (Visual Merchandising) and store concept for House of Shinsegae were designed to feel more like an

**apparel store** rather than a typical food market,

and indeed, the food hall's layout was so uniquely differentiated from other department store food sections that I found myself leisurely exploring every corner.

Tofunola made from soybean dregs and low-sugar milk jam!

There were so many unique **healthy snacks** I'd never seen before,

making it incredibly fun to browse :)

But it wasn't just healthy snacks!

The **SWEET TREATS** section, filled with candies, chocolates, and jellies,

was also absolutely superb!

Oral hygiene products like toothpastes and mouthwashes were also being sold.

I'd never seen that **oil mouthwash** before, and it looked so unique that I was curious to try it.

Venturing further inside,

I found a beautifully arranged **fruit corner**, with items neatly displayed by color,

and a **fresh vegetable corner**.

While the prices were, of course, a bit higher than at local supermarkets,

they were on par with typical department store food sections.

And if you looked closely, you could sometimes spot some great value-for-money items!

Then there was the fresh seafood corner, where the displayed items looked incredibly vibrant and fresh!

You could choose from a variety of **live fish** like salmon, sea bass, hairtail, Spanish mackerel,

flounder, yellow sea bream, and butterfish.

Right next door, there was also a sushi corner,

which, surprisingly, is operated by

**Moosaek, a famous Japanese restaurant in Seongsu** that even appeared on the TV show "Masters of Life"!

In addition to all this, there were various other special products,

I was just planning to grab a light snack, so

I was really tempted by the meat pie.

I debated whether to get it,

but decided to go back out and take another look

at the Twelve Kitchen menu first.

Neatly arranged organic multi-grains

and the banchan corner!

What surprised me at the banchan corner was...

why are they so serious about Gyeran-mari (rolled omelet) here?!

It felt like there were almost 7 different kinds

of Gyeran-mari!

From original vegetable Gyeran-mari to

Katsuobushi shrimp Gyeran-mari,

Myeongnan Gamtae Gyeran-mari,

Cheese Bomb Gyeran-mari, and more!

I really wanted to compare and

try each one.

House of Shinsegae Cheongdam Beton

Beton, a popular spot known for its salt bread these days,

also had a branch here!

They were selling coffee and

simple drink menus at Beton too,

I visited around 4 PM,

and there were still plenty of breads left!

I loved that there were comfortable

seating areas scattered throughout the store,

(probably because they sell a lot of

ready-to-eat foods!).

Past Beton, you'll find the

Twelve Life corner,

showcasing mainly lifestyle items

from Casamia and Jaju.

There was even a stationery store inside!

Various writing instruments, colorful products,

and fountain pens perfect for gifts were on display,

so stationery lovers,

don't miss exploring this inner section!

There was even a Dubai Chewy Cookie

pop-up! ㅋㅋ

It really feels like they've gathered all the latest trendy items here 🤭

House of Shinsegae Cheongdam Dining

After finishing my shopping, feeling enchanted by all the different things,

I looked around once more, wondering what to eat.

There was also a place called Han-sik Deli Balhyo Gotgan,

which offered Korean deli menus.

I could order their signature plate,

consisting of one main dish and three side dishes,

along with rice and soup!

The price was ~$13 - ~$14.

As it was a bit too heavy

for a full-on dinner,

after some thought, I decided to try

some simple side dishes at Twelve Kitchen,

the first place I saw!

I ordered two dishes:

hummus and quinoa tabbouleh salad :)

The pricing is based on weight,

and both the hummus and quinoa tabbouleh salad were

a reasonable ~$3 per 100g.

A friendly staff member

scooped out about one serving of each dish,

which was the perfect amount for me,

as I only needed a light snack.

If you want more, you can comfortably ask for a bit extra :)

The hummus had that basic texture and flavor

I really enjoy, so I ate it deliciously.

However, the quinoa tabbouleh salad

contained cilantro, so the aroma was stronger than I expected.

If you're not a fan of cilantro, I recommend choosing a different menu item!

Beyond that, there were also stores like Milkhouse Candle,

Slow Pharmacy (a flower shop), and a nail bar.

It really felt like a department store food hall had been transplanted here.

There was a restroom next to Milkhouse Candle,

and even the restrooms were pleasant and well-maintained at

House of Shinsegae Cheongdam!

If I'm ever in the area,

I'll definitely find myself stopping by again,

just like a sparrow to a mill! Haha.

It seems everyone feels the same way,

as over 150,000 people have visited

in just one month since opening, and they've even exceeded their sales targets!

Weekends are super hot right now, so it's quite crowded,

but they're open until 10 PM even on weekdays.

So, if you have time, it might be great to visit on a weekday evening after work! 😉
