1. Location & Check-in/Lobby

The lobby is on the 20th floor, I believe?
You'll head up there first!
The cafe area in the lobby had bright marble tables and
gray leather sofas, giving it a clean and modern vibe overall~
Sunlight poured in through the large windows,
creating a calm and cozy atmosphere!

The check-in counter featured
wooden walls bathed in natural light,
giving it a wonderfully warm ambiance haha.
The staff were incredibly friendly,
and the lobby itself was a spacious, sophisticated
area with an airy feel!

This is the information guide they explain during check-in!
It also included Wi-Fi instructions haha.
Essential information for guests, such as restaurant
and fitness center operating hours, was clearly organized and easy to read~

Right next to the check-in counter, the panoramic city skyline
and Han River view outside the window were truly, incredibly breathtaking!
The Hotel Naru text subtly reflected on the window was a nice touch, too!!
Lots of people were taking photos here haha.
2. Inside the Room

I booked the 'Deluxe River King' room and was assigned the 16th floor!
Check-in was around 3:05 PM!!
Tonight's room is '1601'!!

The curtains automatically opened as soon as I entered the room!
The highlight of the room's interior was the arched doorway,
and the bright beige tones combined with the wooden floor
created a truly luxurious atmosphere!
The navy blue sofa seemed to elevate the room's ambiance even further haha.

Beyond the large window next to the bed,
the Han River and city skyline stretched out before me,
offering an absolutely phenomenal, unobstructed view!
With a small table and chairs,
you can sit and enjoy the view,
or have a simple glass of wine in the evening.
It was absolutely perfect!

The spacious king-size bed
was super clean with its white sheets,
and the indirect lighting created such a cozy ambiance,
allowing me to truly relax and unwind!

Next to the bed inside the room,
there were multiple power outlets on the wall,
which was super convenient for charging devices or getting some work done!
The master switch for turning lights on and off,
along with the switch for adjusting the curtains,
was also conveniently located right by the bed!
It was great that the curtains included both sheer inner curtains and blackout curtains,
and you could adjust each independently!

The room's entryway
was spacious and tidy,
and I loved having a bench-style space
where I could fully open my suitcase!

This is the closet!
It even had an umbrella, an iron,
and plenty of hangers!
I was truly touched that guests really don't need to bring a thing...🫶

Down below here,
you'll find disposable indoor slippers in various sizes,
ready for your comfort,
and even a laundry bag for those who need laundry service!

Right next to those, there were comfy flip-flops
perfect for heading to the pool,
also available in different sizes!

And in the right-hand drawer, a safe!
So if you have any valuables,
you can pop them right in there, right?!

Across from that,
you'll find the super neat bathroom area!

If you look to the left in the picture, you'll see two
fluffy bathrobes ready for use!
(Many guests wear them when heading to the pool.)
And check out the left corner of the bathtub –
in a glass jar that looks like it would hold a scented candle,
they've put bath salts!
(Talk about thoughtful touches... so much attention to detail!)
Just a heads-up, the bathtub is a bit on the smaller side,
so it might be a bit of a squeeze for two people to relax comfortably in there. ^_^

I also loved that the shower booth and toilet
were completely separate! So convenient!

The washbasin was perfectly spotless, too!

Underneath the washbasin, you'd find a hairdryer,
a generous four towels per night,
and even a scale!

On top, they provided body lotion and hand soap.

And to the left, you'll find the toiletries and amenities.

Due to a Ministry of Environment policy,
disposable amenities like toothpaste and toothbrushes are not complimentary,
so it's best to bring your own!!!!!

Inside the room, you'll find the
minibar, glasses, and a wine opener, among other things!
Cups, wine glasses, a wine opener, capsule coffee,
and complimentary bottled water –
up to four 500ml bottles per night!
They really went above and beyond with the basic amenities!

You can refer to this menu for
the minibar prices!

There's also a table next to it, which was
perfect for getting some quick work done!
And having a mirror right there was incredibly convenient for doing my makeup...
Often, hotel chairs can be uncomfortable,
but this one was super comfy!
And of course, a coffee kettle was also provided!
(It looked perfectly clean to the eye).

This table even had a built-in charger, so if you're
only staying for one night,
you probably don't even need to bring your own!

And how cute was this
'Beware of Bugs' notice...🫶
Hot Tip for Discounts!!
Hold on a sec!!!!
Hotels can be pricey, so we gotta find a way to save a little, right...
I don't know why, but after constantly checking until I booked the hotel,
Agoda and Booking.com were always
around ~$14 to ~$41 cheaper...!!!??
Maybe it's because of the non-refundable options...?
It might vary depending on the dates,
so be sure to check them out!!
Agoda | Booking.com | Klook |
~$292 | ~$292 | ~$321 |

3. Pool and Gym

The gym is located downstairs,
just off the path to the pool!

They had a variety of exercise equipment
ready for use!
The equipment also seemed really
well-maintained haha.
But I decided to skip the workout... ^___^

Right after checking in around 4 PM, I headed straight to the infinity pool!
The view from the rooftop pool is truly...
...beyond words... it's pure art!

Gazing beyond the glass railing,
the scenery of the Han River and the cityscape of towering buildings
was absolutely breathtaking ㅠㅠ
As guests have unlimited access to the pool,
being able to go whenever I wanted
made it even better!

The high-rise buildings,
the river, and even the bridges, all visible at a glance,
created an overwhelmingly expansive view!
Even on a cloudy day,
the city's skyline felt magnificent
and grand ㅎㅎ
I took a ton of photos here... hehe
It was surprisingly spacious, and people didn't overlap as much as I expected,
making it perfect for taking pictures!!
It was easy to get those 'photos of a lifetime'!
(Based on a weekday visit)
But then it hit me, a brilliant idea...
This place would be stunning at sunset!!!!

So, I wrapped up my swim quickly,
and picked up some simple drinks and snacks from a nearby wine shop and the market across the street!!
📍 Wine Shop Vinovita Mapo Branch
1st Floor, 23 Samgae-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
I went to this wine shop,
and the owner was incredibly, incredibly kind!
I told them my preferred price range (~$21-~$28)
and explained my wine preferences,
and they recommended the perfect wine!!
It felt no pressure at all, and I had a really pleasant experience!
It's only a 5-minute walk from the hotel,
so I highly recommend checking it out if you're there!!!
There's also a supermarket right across the street,
and an Olive Young nearby,
making it great for picking up quick necessities!
(Not an advertisement!!!)

Then, I watched from my room,
and as soon as the sunset began!
I went back up
to take some photos!!
Hehehe...

Isn't this absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!
While the pool view during the day is beautiful,
if you visit at sunset,
you can capture some truly spectacular photos!

Enjoying a leisurely swim
in the heart of the city...
with the sunset... talk about a vibe ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Photo of a Lifetime Tip!!!
If you take a picture from the right corner of the pool,
you can capture Bamseom Island, the grand bridge, and the Han River...
in perfect harmony!!!

There were also many foreigners,
which added to the exotic ambiance,
and made me so happy..!
Truly, a pool boasting a fantastic view!
It was a view that really opened up your chest and cleared your mind ㅎㅎ
4. Room Service Menu

Room service can be easily ordered
using the tablet
right by the bed!

You can do and order so much
with the tablet, it's almost a
universal tablet!

You can order everything you need in your room,
like **hangers, children's slippers, bottled water,**
**shopping bags, sugar, wine glasses, a sewing kit, cotton pads, and cotton swabs!**
And that's just some of it!

It was so wonderful that you could request
bathroom essentials like **amenities such as shampoo, combs, towels,**
**and even hygiene bags for wet swimsuits!**

What's unique is that for those who don't find the pillows comfortable,
they even **lend out different pillows!**
Like **cypress wood pillows, memory foam pillows,** and more!
I totally understood why, though, because **the standard pillow provided**
**was too high, so I ended up sleeping without it...**

**And for F&B amenities,**
**you could order cutlery, chilling ice,**
**and edible ice all for free** via the tablet,
which was incredibly convenient!

This is how you could order!
**Oh, a quick tip:** when I placed an order during the busy dinner hours,
I actually got a call to my room! They let me know that due to a high volume of guest orders,
it might take over 30 minutes! Even though they delivered it within about 15 minutes after that call,
if you're in a hurry, you can opt to pick it up yourself at the Voisine Restaurant on the 22nd floor,
and they'll prepare it there for you! So if you're in a rush, definitely give that a try!!

The room service menu was also
incredibly diverse!
From vegan options to desserts and kids' meals,
the variety was so impressive that you wouldn't have to worry even if you came with guests with different tastes!

I simply ordered pizza and pork ribs
and enjoyed them with a recommended wine I purchased!
5. Night View

As night fell, a whole new
charm revealed itself!
The **night view with its sparkling city lights**
was truly mesmerizing...

The Han River at night,
viewed from the room,
was even more romantic.

Thanks to the **beautiful night view,**
I think this will be a long-lasting memory!
6. Final Thoughts

It was truly, truly satisfying, making me exclaim, "This is exactly what a 5-star hotel should be!"
My staycation at **Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery** was just perfect!
With its beautiful views, comfortable facilities,
and impeccable friendly service, I will
**definitely be revisiting**!!!
