Why should you visit Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery (호텔 나루 서울 엠갤러리)?
It's all about the **absolutely breathtaking Han River (한강) view!**
I've stayed at a few Han River view hotels in Seoul,
but this isn't just a glimpse of the river;
the view from the window *is* the Han River.

Here's why I booked my stay here:
✔️ Spectacular Han River view rooms
✔️ Delicious breakfast with a Han River view
✔️ A great price for a 5-star hotel in Seoul
It's also super convenient because it's close to Mapo Station (마포역),
and the night view of the Han River from the room is absolutely stunning.
Being a 5-star hotel in Seoul, the price was also fantastic, around ₩300,000s (~$223s)!
The price was really reasonable!
(Places like Shilla Hotel (신라호텔) are around ₩600,000s (~$446s)...)
That's why I highly recommend it for anniversaries or yearly "hocance" (hotel vacations)!

Since it's just a 3-minute walk from Mapo Station,
it's perfect even if you're traveling on foot.
(I went on foot too!)
For a one-night "hocance," you typically don't have
too much luggage, so it works out well.
Deluxe River King Room

If you want to experience that unparalleled Han River view,
I absolutely recommend the **Deluxe River King room**!!
Walkerhill (워커힐) is also famous for its Han River views, right?
But there, you're looking down at the river from a hill in the distance,
while Hotel Naru offers a direct, frontal Han River view.

You can even see the sunlight sparkling on the river
while lying in bed.

The Deluxe River King room faces Yeouido (여의도),
so the night view was incredibly spectacular.
It's clear why it's a popular spot for **all kinds of anniversaries**.
It really has everything.
Since the hotel is near Mapo Station,
there are tons of great restaurants nearby.
There's no need to brave the cold outside;
just order delivery and enjoy your meal with the night view.

For **cake**,
you can pick one up at Artisan Bakery Mapo Eight (아티장 베이커리 마포 에이트) on the G Floor
and bring it right up to your room.
After 6 PM, there's a 30% discount,
so it's perfect to grab one before dinner.
Ordering delivery and then devouring a whole cake?
That's the true taste of a "hocance"! ^^

The king bed is so spacious that two people can stretch out completely and still have room.
It's truly massive compared to other 5-star hotels..!
Plus, it's a Simmons bed, which made it even better.
The room is also very spacious (37.4㎡, 11 pyeong),
and with its **wooden floor**, I think it would be
a great option for traveling with children.

There were 4 Nespresso capsules,
so it was nice to have one upon arrival,
and one each morning.

The bathroom also has a bathtub,
so you can enjoy a relaxing half-body bath at night.
If you bring bath salts, it's the perfect hotelcation! haha
Among the amenities, toothbrushes and razors are paid items (₩1,000 (~$1)),
and will be charged upon checkout. Make sure to bring your own!
I checked the price of a **Deluxe River King Room**
based on weekdays in December.
**Agoda** was **more than ₩80,000 (~$59) cheaper** than the official website..!

Mon-Sat 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Sun, Public Holidays Part 1: 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM / Part 2: 8:45 AM - 10:00 AM
▪️Breakfast Price: ₩66,000 (~$49)
I highly recommend having breakfast at Hotel Naru Seoul (호텔 나루 서울)!
Because **you get a stunning panoramic view of the Han River (한강) from the breakfast restaurant.**

Some hotels with Han River views have limited seating,
requiring you to rush for a spot, but here,
there are plenty of seats with a view, which was great
because I could arrive at my leisure.

The buffet menu included various breads like salt bread and egg tarts,
as well as instant pho, sushi, and smoked salmon.

Besides the buffet, you could also order à la carte dishes.
Even if one person ordered several items, they were all free!

I tried the unagi don (eel rice bowl), abalone steamed egg, and Greek yogurt,
but **the abalone steamed egg was definitely the best**.
The steamed egg was incredibly soft and perfectly seasoned,
and it came with generous pieces of abalone 👍
Here's a breakfast tip for you:
**Booking only the room and then paying for breakfast on-site was
over ₩130,000 (~$97) cheaper than reserving a breakfast package for two people!**
**I highly recommend booking a room-only reservation and paying for breakfast on-site!**

Infinity Pool

The Infinity Pool at Hotel Naru Seoul (호텔 나루 서울)
is famous as a sunset hotspot.
The wind was chilly, but the water was warm,
making it perfect for a soak while admiring the sunset.

Since sunset in November is around 5:20 PM,
checking in at 3 PM and heading up around 5 PM gives you plenty of time.
Some people don't even get into the pool,
but prefer to lie on the sunbeds and enjoy the sunset!
The Infinity Pool is closed from December to February,
so if you want to experience the pool with its stunning sunset views,
this month is your last chance for the year!
