The perfect spot for our 1-night, 2-day autumn hotel getaway with my husband,
Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery (호텔 나루 서울 엠갤러리) 🤍
I've stayed at a few hotels in Seoul (서울) that boast Han River (한강) views,
but this place was truly on another level! Haha,
it was my first time seeing the Han River so up close and personal,
and honestly, even just lounging around in the room,
it felt like we definitely got our money's worth! (And then some!)

When we actually visited, we saw so many couples,
and quite a few groups of female friends enjoying themselves.
If your goal is to capture stunning photos at the infinity pool during sunset,
I don't think you'll find a better spot.
On the other hand, if you're traveling with children, there's something important to keep in mind.
The infinity pool, after 8 PM,
is only accessible to guests aged 19 and above,
so it's best to plan your visit to coincide with sunset times if you have kids.

📌Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery Basic Information
Premier River Room

We originally booked a Deluxe River Room,
but at check-in, we were upgraded to a Premier River Room!
However, once we actually stepped inside,
we realized the room area and layout were identical; only the floor level was different.
Premier River rooms are assigned to higher floors, typically the 12th floor and above.

Being on a higher floor meant we could see the entire road in front of the Han River, which...
made us think we might not have needed the upgrade after all, haha!
If you're aiming for a closer view of the Han River,
I actually think the Deluxe River room might be a better choice.
Walkerhill (워커힐) is also famous for its Han River views, but the vibe is completely different.
Walkerhill is situated on a mountain,
giving you a panoramic, 'looking down on the Han River' kind of feeling,
whereas Hotel Naru is much closer to the Han River,
allowing you to even see the sparkling sunlight on the water ✨

If you prefer to see the river right before your eyes rather than a sweeping distant panorama,
Hotel Naru will definitely be much more satisfying for you.

They say the bed is king-size, and it's truly enormous!
I honestly think three people could comfortably fit on it, haha!
However, if you're planning to go with three friends,
be sure to confirm if additional guests are allowed before booking!

The in-room coffee is Nespresso,
and with four capsules, including decaf options,
we were well-stocked for our morning coffee the next day.

The bathroom also featured a bathtub,
though it was a slight bummer that bath salts or bath bombs weren't provided.
The amenities were from Grown Alchemist.

What was quite unique was that toothbrushes and razors aren't complimentary;
they are provided for ₩1,000 (~$1) and can be paid for at checkout.
Infinity Pool

Break time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Infinity Pool
Accessible only to guests aged 19 and above after 8 PM
The infinity pool, indoor pool, sauna, and fitness center are
They're all connected, so it's easy to move between them.
Entry is at the fitness reception on the 21st floor.
You don't need a swimming cap for the infinity pool,
but a swimming cap is mandatory for the indoor pool.
No worries if you forget!
The counter offers free Arena swimming caps for rent.

I heard you absolutely *must* see the sunset from the infinity pool,
so I timed my visit perfectly,
but it was quite chilly at sunset in October.
There are only body towels at the pool, no robes,
so I highly recommend bringing a robe from your room.
Still, the water was warm, so once I was in,
I wasn't cold at all! Haha.

The sunset view was so beautiful,
you *have* to come here even if it means freezing in winter! LOL.
The sauna offers only a hot tub and individual showers,
without dry or wet saunas.
If you're hoping for a sauna to really sweat it out, you might be a little disappointed.
Breakfast

📌 Breakfast Information
(Confirmed on October 6, 2026)

The buffet offered bakery items like salt bread and pain au chocolat,
as well as sushi, sausages, made-to-order pho, and more.

There was even Mapo Galmaegi (마포갈매기), a specialty of Mapo (마포),
and fried Galbi Mandu (갈비만두) dumplings.
Everything was delicious,
though the bread selection was a bit ordinary, haha.

Besides the buffet, you can also order à la carte dishes separately,
and even if one person orders multiple items, it's all complimentary!

The breakfast restaurant also offers views of the Han River (한강).
There are quite a few seats with Han River views,
so there was no need to rush for an "open run" (waiting before opening) haha.
If you purchase breakfast separately, it costs ₩132,000 (~$99) for two adults,
so if you're going to have breakfast anyway, booking a package is definitely more convenient and gives you peace of mind.

Wrapping Up

I didn't step outside once during my one-night, two-day stay,
and I had absolutely no regrets about staying in this amazing accommodation.
Just imagine lounging around on a king bed while gazing at the Han River view outside your window,
watching the sunset from the infinity pool in the evening,
and enjoying breakfast with a Han River view in the morning.
This itinerary makes for the perfect autumn "hocance" (hotel vacation) 🤍!
