1. Seoul Travel Accommodation

When choosing accommodation for a Seoul trip, the most important thing I look for is...

a location with lots of nearby attractions!!!

Hotel The Botanic Seun Myeongdong

was conveniently located not only for Myeongdong but also for Euljiro and Jongno.

What's more, it's a triple subway station area,

so if you're visiting Seoul for shopping or sightseeing,

it's perfect for planning your itinerary.

Gwangjang Market and Namsan Tower are also nearby,

making it a great place to recommend Seoul hotels to international friends!

Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 12 PM.

Guests could use the building's underground parking lot for free.

2. Booking a Value-for-Money Seoul Accommodation

While researching Myeongdong hotels in Seoul, price was quite important,

and rooms generally started from the ~$73 range depending on the type.

being able to stay in Myeongdong and enjoy this quality of room and

3. Check-in & Room Condition

Being a new building, it was incredibly clean and fresh!

The lobby was also super spacious~!

I picked up my room key right on time for check-in and headed up,

and the room I booked was the Botanic Suite.

This room can host up to four guests,

making it an excellent choice for family trips or adventures with friends in Seoul.

It came complete with a kitchen, a cozy living room, two separate bedrooms, and a bathroom.

And here's the main bedroom, conveniently located right off the living room!

The smaller bedroom featured a comfortable double bed,

and its separation from the other sleeping area meant everyone could enjoy their own space,

even with a group. It's a really well-designed layout!

The kitchen area was also incredibly well-appointed.

Inside the pantry, we found a safe and a garment steamer/styler,

and bathrobes and slippers were thoughtfully provided for each guest.

Having a washing machine and even a wine cellar really cemented the feeling that this was less of a typical hotel room and more of a luxurious residence.

Wine glasses, mugs, an electric kettle, and complimentary tea selections were also available, making it super convenient even for short stays.

The bathroom was wonderfully clean and tidy,

personally, it gave off serious 5-star hotel vibes!

While toothbrushes and toothpaste weren't provided due to environmental policies,

they made sure to stock other essentials like combs, shower caps, sewing kits, shampoo, conditioner,

and body wash.

4. Incredible Facilities

Given that Myeongdong is a magnet for international tourists,

you'll find convenient currency exchange ATMs and T-Money card top-up stations on-site.

Plus, luggage storage is available before check-in or after check-out – so handy!

I thought this would be the perfect Seoul residence hotel to recommend to any international friends visiting the city!

While the rooms definitely impressed me,

the facilities were equally outstanding.

There's even a dedicated co-working studio,

making it ideal for workshops, corporate events, or any group gathering.

And get this – the wellness gym was seriously spacious!

It was packed with a wide array of exercise equipment,

including a StairMaster! This place is perfect for anyone who can't bear to skip their workout, even on vacation.

And get this – on the 21st floor, there's even a rooftop garden!

It's blooming with flowers planted all around,

and benches were thoughtfully placed,

perfect for kicking back and enjoying the surrounding views.

There's also a 'play lounge' you can use for a small fee,

packed with fun activities like darts and pool,

making it a great spot to hang out right within the hotel.

5. Must-Visit Spots Nearby

Strategically located between Myeongdong and Euljiro,

it's absolutely perfect for exploring multiple iconic Seoul spots all at once!

From the bustling Myeongdong shopping streets to the charming Euljiro alleys,

and even making your way to Jongno and Cheonggyecheon is a breeze,

This makes it incredibly easy to craft a diverse itinerary for your day!

Especially if you plan a day of shopping, feasting at delicious restaurants, or sipping coffee at a cozy cafe in Myeongdong,

it's super convenient to head back to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Oh, and I even popped over to Gwangjang Market for dinner – it was amazing!!!
