Hasoro Coffee Jeju West: Location & Parking

Hasoro Coffee is nestled deep within Josu-ri village in Hangyeong-myeon, on Jeju's western side. Its tranquil village setting, rather than a bustling commercial area, makes traveling by rental car or personal vehicle the most convenient option.

Jeju West Tourist Spot: Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road
It's also conveniently close to major western Jeju attractions like Hyeopjae Beach, the Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road, and Panpo Port, making it a perfect stop on a scenic drive.
Parking is readily available along the roadside near the cafe or in the village hall parking lot just across the street. I found roadside parking to be quite easy during my visit, with no hassle at all.
A Jeju Roastery Cafe with an Enchanting Aroma

As I opened the door to Hasoro Coffee, I was immediately enveloped by the subtle, comforting aroma of freshly roasted beans. The warm wooden interior, complemented by soft lighting, created an unexpectedly cozy and inviting atmosphere.

The patrons were mostly engaged in quiet conversations or immersed in books, a refreshing contrast to the often-bustling cafes in more tourist-heavy areas. The cafe features a main first floor and a charming loft-style seating area.

The loft area, adorned with books, offers an even more secluded and comfortable feel, perfect for unwinding.

While the total seating capacity isn't vast, if you're someone who appreciates a calm and serene environment, you'll find immense satisfaction here.
Additionally, Hasoro Coffee is pet-friendly and provides high chairs, making it a welcoming spot for families traveling with children.
The Joy of Choosing Your Perfect Bean

When I think back to my visit, what immediately comes to mind is the delightful experience of easily choosing from a variety of coffee beans.
Displayed prominently at the counter, the beans were labeled with intuitive descriptions like 'Vibrant,' 'Comforting,' or 'Bold,' making the selection process simple and enjoyable, even for those who aren't coffee connoisseurs.

My husband, who prefers a strong brew, ordered an Americano made with the 'Intense' blend, while I opted for a decaf Americano.
The 'Intense' Americano offered a rich, full-bodied experience from the first sip, with a deep, nutty flavor. It wasn't overly acidic, which perfectly suited our palates.
My decaf also boasted a wonderful aroma and a clean finish that was truly impressive.

The tasting note card provided with our coffee was another memorable touch.
It elevated the coffee-drinking experience, turning it into a sensory journey as we consciously identified the aromas and flavors described on the card, making our time there even more special.

The cafe also offers a selection of delightful desserts, such as scones and cakes, which pair wonderfully with their coffee.
Bring the Hasoro Coffee Experience Home: Drip Bags & Beans

On one side of the cafe, you'll discover a display of their directly roasted whole beans, convenient drip bags, and various brewing accessories.
If you're looking to extend your Jeju travel experience and savor the memory of their coffee long after you've returned home, picking up some beans or drip bags here is an excellent idea. They even run an online smart store, making it easy to order their exceptional beans from anywhere. (I'm planning to upgrade my coffee setup soon, and their beans are definitely on my list!)
