Hapjeong Restaurant Spring Bistro
Atmosphere & Ambiance

Even though it's located on the 2nd floor,
Its stylish signboard and menu immediately catch your eye.
While foreign cuisines can sometimes feel intimidating or unfamiliar,
this Hapjeong Station gem has crafted its Western dishes
to be easily approachable and enjoyable for everyone.
It turns out the chef
even worked for several years at Pavilion Montsouris in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, France 🇫🇷,
and boasts a career of many years at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel!

Even on the second floor, the bright sunshine streaming through the windows
immediately makes the ambiance a total win.
Life's motto? Open run! 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️
Snapping photos of the bistro interior before the couples arrive!

With individual lighting at each table,
it makes the evening's mood feel equally promising and inviting.

Spring Bistro Menu & Prices

Even the cutlery setting is tastefully arranged!
Thinking 'Oh my, even the tableware is luxurious!'
I began to meticulously pore over the menu!

By cooking with high-quality ingredients using suitable cooking methods,
Spring Bistro, a Hapjeong restaurant, aims to provide these dishes at reasonable prices.
The chef, who makes everything from scratch without using any pre-made ingredients,
His dedication and expertise were palpable from the very first page of the menu.

From exquisite wines to a delightful array of spirits and beverages,
these are the dishes designed to elevate the ambiance of any gathering.
😅Oops, my reflection was caught in the menu!
So I've borrowed some menu photos from Naver.
First off, the Ananas Caprese was absolutely gorgeous, especially its vibrant colors!
And let me tell you, the 'best' menu items never disappoint!
We ordered the Spring Chicken Rice and
the Mentaiko Aglio e Olio Pasta.
Mentaiko lovers, unite! 〰️〰️

Just like you would on a first date,
we clinked our water glasses! 🥂
Oh, and here's a crucial tip‼️‼️
If you visit for lunch on a weekday,
you get a complimentary drink!
Definitely don't miss out..❤️
Spring Bistro Menu Review: What We Devoured

Our culinary journey began with the complimentary bread.
Warm, wonderfully chewy rye bread...

The bread was so warm, the butter just melted into it perfectly.
And the texture? Fantastically chewy, much like a perfect ciabatta.
Taking a bite, I loved how the bread's shape
springed right back! It was pure bliss,
pure bliss, really...
Ananas Caprese: A Feast for the Eyes

Red, yellow, green, and white – a symphony of colors!
❤️💛💚🤍
Herb-syrup marinated tomatoes,
creamy buffalo mozzarella,
perfectly ripe pineapple, and a fresh salad.
It was an instant appetite stimulant,
so beautiful to behold that it sparked joy the moment I saw it.

Hehe, check out my little Anpanman creation! 😊
"Oh my, Amy, your plating skills are truly exceptional, hohoho!"
First date, a huge success!

But beware: if you skewer all four elements like a kebab and devour them in one giant bite,
you might just scare off your date, so proceed with caution! 😉
However, since I was with my sister, we went full food fighter mode!
Mentaiko Aglio e Olio Pasta: A Spicy Umami Bomb

Generous helpings of mentaiko,
garlic chives, fresh garlic, and a hint of chili...
this pasta offered a delightful textural play.
The noodles were cooked absolutely perfectly – a total bullseye for my taste buds!

Spring Chicken Rice: Hearty & Flavorful

Oven-roasted chicken, marinated in over 20 different seasonings, served with
delicious pan-fried rice‼️ Yes, fried rice, oh yeah! 〰️〰️〰️

While there's a whole chicken on the main steak menu,
this dish offers a lighter yet incredibly satisfying option,
and comes with fried rice, all at a more reasonable price point!
It's truly a complete meal.
Ever eaten Western food and still felt hungry enough
to grab a cup noodle afterwards? Confess! 😉
Well, one plate of this Spring Chicken Rice will absolutely fill you up.
The chicken was incredibly tender, with perfectly balanced spices,
a lovely hint of lemon,
and those baby potatoes? They were so good, they'd win any competition against even the best highway rest stop potatoes! So, so delicious...

And that's how our epic meal journey began!

And just like that, it was gone....
Did a cow lick it clean?
Or did a pig stop by? 🐖
If you're searching for a restaurant in Hapjeong with a fantastic atmosphere
and guaranteed delicious food,
Spring Bistro is the place to be!
