We recently visited on a Monday evening?
There was one spot left for a walk-in, so we were able to sit at the bar.
Before, when my sister and I tried to go to Manao on a weekend, it was fully booked, so we couldn't go.
When you sit down, these beautiful
traditional Thai dishes are set for you.
The colorful Manao paper placed under the wine glass is also lovely.

Everyone said it was delicious,
and I certainly enjoyed my meal too.
First off, since it was an incredibly hot day, we ordered white wine at Manao,
So, we ordered a salad, a grilled dish, an appetizer, and a soup.
First off, I'm a total somtum hater – seriously, I just can't with papaya salad – so I made sure to emphasize that somtum was
absolutely out of the question when we arrived!
Those delicious-looking veggies you see in this photo are Manao's appetizer specialty,
Lab Gai.
It's essentially a chicken salad served with cabbage.
I specifically asked for 'much, much, much' cilantro,
and they even brought extra in a separate bowl! Heh.
The Lab Gai, which was the first dish served at Manao, was absolutely divine! A squeeze of lime and you're in for a truly incredible flavor experience.
Hmm, what was this one again...?
Manao's second dish on our table was
either Mu Ping (grilled pork neck skewers) or perhaps Khao Mu Yang.
Either way, it was a fantastic grilled dish from Manao...
It came served with rice and skewers,
and both the sauce and the cilantro (which they'll happily omit if you ask) were incredibly flavorful.
Even the cilantro was delicious!
The rice seemed more like Korean-style rice than traditional Thai rice, but
I don't typically eat much rice anyway, so I can't really comment on it.
Just looking at this makes me hungry all over again!
We were seated at Manao's bar, and behind our dishes, you can see
stacks of beautiful Thai tableware.
It added a touch of mystique and beauty to the whole experience.
