Jeju Hallim Park is
located in Hallim-eup on the western side of Jeju,
and sits right in front of the beautiful Hyeopjae Beach!
Inside Hallim Park, you'll find
a botanical garden, a bonsai garden, gorgeous landscaping, bird sanctuaries, a stone exhibition hall, and even natural caves!
The iconic Palm Tree Road was first planted way back in 1971.

For those looking for a hidden gem of a nature spot
during their Jeju travels, I highly recommend checking this place out.
Right from the entrance,
towering palm trees and
a lush variety of plants welcome you.
It honestly feels like you've been transported to a tropical paradise.
With so many unique plants and animals around,
it was an exotic, incredibly uplifting experience.
It was so peaceful to hear the birds singing, the wind rustling, and the sound of trickling water everywhere.
We walked around for about two hours.
Even though the sun was intense and it got pretty hot,
it was a deeply healing and wonderful memory.
Gorgeous flowers are in full bloom,
and there are so many perfect spots to take photos!
There are so many unique plants here,
and seeing all these fascinating species
makes it feel like an all-in-one nature theme park!
There are cute, delicate flowers,
and even Dolhareubang statues!
They even have real reptiles here!
Yes, this is a real crocodile.
We made sure to snap some photos together, too!
Oh, look! They even have Jeju's famous giant summer oranges, known as Hagyul!
There is a beautiful garden here too!
There was a fountain in the garden,
and this little bird must have been feeling the heat!
It was actually taking a little shower in the water.
It was such a fascinating sight to catch!
So incredibly cute.

A peacock is just casually wandering around
right there on the path!

I can't believe I'm seeing a peacock up close like this in real life!
It's even walking down the stairs.
Looks like it's out for its daily stroll!
Each area was so much larger than I expected,
with so many wonderful spots to explore.
It was such a unique Jeju experience, making it even more special and incredibly fun!
The admission fee for Hallim Park is ~$10 for adults and ~$6 for children. You can get a discount if you book online.
It takes about 40 minutes from Jeju Airport to Hallim Park. The park is located in Hallim-eup on the western side of Jeju, right in front of Hyeopjae Beach.
Hallim Park is open every day from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Visitors can use the parking lot in front of the entrance for free.
It takes about 2 hours to walk around and explore the different areas in the park. Since each area is large and has plenty to see, it is recommended to set aside enough time.
You can get a close look at peacocks roaming around the paths and watch birds enjoying the water at the fountain. You can also see real crocodiles in the reptile area.
