Looking for the perfect family-friendly resort in Jeju? Here is our honest review of Haevichi Hotel & Resort, from Pyoseon beach views to the Sumora breakfast.
Breakfast at Haevichi Hotel Jeju
Cost & How to Get a Discount
On our trip with a 5-month-old baby,
we had such a comfortable 3-day, 2-night stay at Haevichi Jeju.

The Pyoseon Beach View from Jeju Haevichi Resort
The view of the Pyoseon ocean is absolutely breathtaking,
and since the hotel was recently renovated, the bedding was incredibly cozy and fluffy.
If you're looking for a hotel in Seogwipo, Jeju,
I highly, highly recommend Haevichi! 🥺
Seriously, it was the ultimate staycation experience!
Since they offer a guest discount for breakfast,
it’s actually a much better deal to book a room-only special rate
and then get the guest discount for breakfast on-site! ✌🏻

Just a tip: for the Jeju Haevichi Hotel & Resort,
booking through the Yeogi Eottae (Good Choice) app was the cheapest (totally sponsored by my own wallet!)
If you use their discount coupons to book,
the savings are way bigger than the cost of breakfast!
(It’s basically like getting breakfast for free!)

Haevichi Breakfast Detailed Review
Breakfast Location: Sumora Buffet, Hotel Wing
Breakfast Hours: 07:00 – 10:00
It starts getting crowded around 8:30 AM,
so I recommend going before 8:00 AM.
(The earlier you go, the better your chances of snagging a window seat with a great view!)

There were so many delicious options at the Haevichi breakfast
that we ended up sitting there and eating for almost 2 hours... 😳
Of course, traveling with a baby meant taking turns eating with my mom,
which made it take a bit longer!
But by the time we finished dessert and coffee,
two hours had just flown by! haha

Anyway, from the salads to the mains and desserts,
everything was absolutely mouthwatering.
Even if I visit Haevichi again, I’m definitely getting the breakfast buffet!
Especially the coffee—it was sooo good! >.<
A barista brews it fresh for you upon order,
and they even have decaf, so I ended up drinking three whole cups! haha
Detailed Breakfast Review

True to Jeju, they served abalone porridge.
Since it was made with the abalone innards, it was incredibly rich and savory!
The curry in the Asian section was also amazing.

They make the rice noodles and warm noodles right at the live station—
just pick out your favorite ingredients, hand them over, and they'll whip it up on the spot.
And that last picture up there—the bread pudding...
It was my very first time trying this for brunch,
and oh my goodness, it was SO incredibly delicious! ㅠㅠ
I went back for seconds... actually, probably thirds of just that.

True to a great breakfast buffet, there were plenty of egg dishes,
and they make fresh omelets to order.

The fresh sushi was seriously out of this world!
They keep making it fresh at the live station right in front of you,
so just tell them what you'd like and they'll plate it up for you.
I'm a total salmon killer, so I just kept going back for salmon haha.

There was also a huge variety of desserts—
the fruits were super fresh, and the pastries were so tasty.
They even had a great selection of different jams~~
It was absolutely perfect to pair with a cup of coffee at the end.
My overall rating for the breakfast is 4.5/5.0
Since the absolute 5.0/5.0 reigning champion in my heart
is still the breakfast at The Shilla Jeju,
it couldn't quite get a perfect score haha.
But considering the price, the value for money was absolutely unbeatable!

Honestly, starting your day in Jeju with a hearty hotel breakfast
is way better (and easier) than hunting for restaurants outside first thing in the morning! 🍳

Traveling with a Baby?

Since I visited with my 5-month-old,
I brought our stroller along.
But whenever she got a little fussy or bored in the stroller,
I easily transitioned her over to a baby high chair.
The attention to detail at Haevichi Jeju is seriously impressive—
they actually offer two different types of baby chairs!

Haevichi Jeju Baby Chairs
They have a smaller, snug chair designed for infants
under 12 months, as well as a standard high chair
for slightly older toddlers!
Just let the staff know, and they will kindly bring one right to your table.

Haevichi Breakfast Pricing
Adults: ~$42, Children: ~$23
Free for toddlers under 36 months!
But wait, no one actually pays full price, right?!
How to Get a Breakfast Discount
If you pre-book and pay at the reception desk
by the day before you dine, it's just ~$35.
That's about a 15% discount!
So make sure to reserve your breakfast when you check in!
Booking your room at a special rate online
and adding the discounted breakfast at the front desk
is hands down the smartest way to enjoy Haevichi! ❤️

TMI: Honestly, compared to the Shilla Hotel Jeju,
Shilla definitely has a wider variety of options, haha.
But Shilla's breakfast is slightly pricier at around ~$45.
So when it comes to value for money,
Haevichi wins hands down! 🏆
If you're on the fence about getting breakfast,
definitely secure that guest discount and go for it! 🤍
