Since I was exploring on foot,
I traveled by transferring buses, of course! Hehe.

There were several routes available, but
I heard the path to Haebangchon was beautiful,
so I chose a route that involved a 10-15 minute walk. Lol.

Even though the weather was chilly,,,
as you walk past the trees stretching tall into the sky,

you'll quickly reach Noksapyeong Station Exit 1 OR the Haebangchon bus stop.

Because the path itself is so picturesque,
for budding couples
on a date, I think meeting up first and then
walking the route together would be a great idea! Hehe.

Since I hadn't truly explored Yongsan's Haebangchon street before,
I was absolutely thrilled... hehe.
I found myself beaming with excitement at every turn... >.<♥

Something you should all know:
the green number 02 bus.
If you're not a fan of walking uphill, you can take that bus.
It'll get you up there in about 5 minutes, so
if the timing works out, definitely consider taking the bus! Hehe.
I think the bus came roughly every 20 minutes...?

It reminded me of an alleyway I saw when I visited Taiwan a while back,
which was a pleasant surprise!
Even this street, with Namsan Tower in view,
turned out quite beautifully and atmospherically in photos. Lol.

Even the bicycle with that vintage feel, placed in front of the restaurant,

Like a street right out of America,
even the vintage mural with a parked motorcycle
I really liked it and wanted to take a picture, but
the vibe just didn't quite match what I was wearing today ^^ haha.
So I just snapped a quick photo instead. Lol.

After strolling through the charming streets, we arrived at
the pasta hotspot, Ragu! ★

It's not just popular,
but the restaurant is on the smaller side,
so many people must be looking for it because there was a wait!

Mono Mansion Haebangchon Studio
1F, 40 Sinheung-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

While waiting,
we had fun taking sticker photos for ~$3.
Time flew by, and soon it was our turn, so we headed straight back to the restaurant!!!

Even before arriving, I had my heart set on ordering the T-bone steak,
but it was sold out.
▶ Well-Bone Steak ~$42
▶ Grandma's Ragu Pasta ~$18
▶ Chopped Steak Salad ~$12
So, this is what we decided to order.
Interior

From the outside, it looked like it might be a luxurious restaurant,
that's what I expected,
but inside, it was decorated with a cool vintage vibe, haha!

The crunchy texture of the bread,
the refreshing, tangy salad,
and the cherry tomatoes bursting with flavor,
along with the tender chopped steak inside the salad,
it was all so delicious!
I had hesitated before ordering this,
but it turned out to be such an excellent choice!

Grandma's Ragu Pasta
had a flavor I've never tasted anywhere else...
With its thick, rich texture,
it was a pasta with a deep and intense flavor.
It even seemed like they sold the sauce separately.

Among everything, the most incredibly delicious dish was truly
the L-Bone Steak! ♥

For the doneness,
I hesitated between medium-rare and...
ended up going with medium.
And let me tell you, it was better than most places!
The chuck flap steak was incredibly tender,
Seriously, this dish is a MUST-TRY! 😭
A flavor so good, it gives Outback and VIPS a run for their money! '3'

When enjoyed with the whole grain sauce and mashed potatoes,
my happiness levels went straight through the roof! 😂😂😂😂

And with the complimentary glass of wine,
which wasn't too bitter or too sweet,
it perfectly balanced the richness of the meal.

With the salad, pasta, and steak all together,
every single dish was a star, and they complemented each other so well!
I think that's why I enjoyed it even more! Hehehehe.

I usually don't revisit places I've eaten at, no matter how good, but this meal was so incredibly satisfying,
this is one place I absolutely want to go back to! Haha.
If you're on the hunt for an amazing Western restaurant in Itaewon's Haebangchon,
I wholeheartedly recommend Ragu! Haha.
