Discover Ground Planet Seoul Grand Park, a massive 3-story kids cafe perfect for elementary-aged children. Get tips on parking, tickets, and avoiding weekend crowds for a fantastic family day out in 2026.
An incredibly spacious, three-story kids' cafe near Seoul
A fantastic kids' cafe, even for elementary schoolers
But be warned, weekends get seriously crowded!

📍 Ground Planet Seoul Grand Park
80 Daegongwon-gwangjang-ro, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Ground Planet
This past weekend, my first-grader, Melody, and I
ventured out to a massive kids' cafe.
If the weather were perfect, we'd usually head to a place like Han River Park,
but the lingering heat of early fall still makes indoor activities more appealing.
Now that Melody is in elementary school,
the old kids' cafes she used to love just don't hold her interest anymore. She gets bored quickly!
Yet, she's not quite ready for super intense, high-thrill rides either,
so I pondered where we could go this time.
That's when we decided to check out Ground Planet Seoul Grand Park,
conveniently located within Seoul Land!

Parking: Seoul Grand Park Sandeul Parking Lot
📍 Seoul Grand Park Sandeul Parking Lot
324-5 Makgye-dong, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do
Ground Planet shares its parking facilities
with Seoul Grand Park and Seoul Land.
Just navigate to the Seoul Grand Park Sandeul Parking Lot.
It's a large, spacious lot, so parking is usually a breeze.
We arrived around 3 PM on a weekend,
and had no trouble finding a spot.
Once you've parked in the Sandeul Parking Lot,
head right and walk until you find the Sky Lift.
Ground Planet is right next to its ticket booth!
Do NOT go towards the Elephant Train,
and do NOT head to the Seoul Land ticket booth.
If you're coming by subway, exit from Grand Park Station (Line 4), Exit 2.
Walk towards the Elephant Train boarding area, then turn right, and you'll spot it immediately.
A Giant 3-Story Indoor Kids' Cafe
From Bumper Cars to Magic Shows
Among all the kids' cafes I've visited,
this one truly feels like the biggest.
With attractions and activities spanning all three floors,
it's no wonder there were so many elementary school kids enjoying themselves.

We specifically went for the ticket that allows entry after 3 PM,
but it seems many others had the same idea,
as the place was incredibly crowded.

The weekend all-day pass holders who hadn't left yet,
plus all the new arrivals with 3 PM tickets, combined to create a peak.
So, definitely keep in mind that the busiest time on weekends
is typically between 3 PM and 4 PM!
After 4:30 PM, the crowd suddenly thinned out by about half,
but before that, it was truly astounding how such a vast space
could be so completely packed with people.

There's even a real excavator that kids can operate themselves, which is a huge hit!
With bumper cars, a train ride, a giant drop slide,
a skywalk, climbing walls, and so many other diverse attractions,
my daughter's eyes were just sparkling with excitement.
Excluding brief maintenance breaks, most rides operate continuously until 5:50 PM,
so even though it was crowded, the lines moved surprisingly fast,
and we didn't miss out on anything due to long waits.

Plus, on weekends, there's a free magic show at 4 PM,
making it an even more worthwhile destination.
Essential Packing?
Non-slip socks for kids, and socks for adults too!
Outside food and drinks are prohibited,
so you can't bring your own snacks,

but the cafe has its own cafe, convenience store, and food court.
They offer everything from pizza and Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) to Donkatsu (pork cutlet),
and even a Han River-style ramen machine, so everyone can easily grab a meal.
Han River Ramen: ~$5
Slushie: ~$4
Non-slip socks are mandatory for children,
and adults are not allowed to enter without socks either.
If you arrive barefoot, you'll have to purchase socks at the counter, so PLEASE remember to bring your own!

I've linked to one below!
This place is highly recommended for kids who find typical kids' cafes boring
and prefer more active play.
If your child is too young, you'll likely have to follow them around this huge space,
which can be quite tiring for parents!
It's perfectly suited for children aged approximately 6-7 years old up to 10 years old,
especially elementary school children.
It's an excellent choice for a weekend outing on hot days or rainy days!
