3. Our Breakfast Experience

We opted for the 2-Person Feast Set, and it was an absolute spread!
It included Galchi Guksu (hairtail fish noodle soup), Bibim Guksu (spicy mixed noodles), Dombe Gogi (boiled pork slices), Octopus Salad, and your choice of beverage.
The table was laden with an impressive array of authentic Jeju regional dishes, and the generous portions looked incredibly satisfying – a true feast for the eyes and stomach!

The Galchi Guksu was served with a side of crispy fried hairtail fish. You can enjoy it your way: sprinkle some of the extra fried batter into the soup for added texture, or simply savor the fried fish alongside the noodles. It’s all about customizing your delicious experience!

I started by tasting the soup on its own, without any additions. The broth was incredibly clean yet rich in flavor, with a subtle umami taste that made it delicious even by itself! The fresh noodles were perfectly springy, providing a delightful texture that was a joy to slurp down.

The fried fish itself was wonderfully crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. What's more, all the bones in the hairtail fish were removed, making it incredibly easy and pleasant to eat without any fuss.

I cut the fried hairtail fish into bite-sized pieces and enjoyed it with the noodles. Honestly, this combination was even more delicious than eating them separately – a definite must-try! 👍´-

When in Jeju, you absolutely have to try Dombe Gogi! These perfectly boiled pork slices had an ideal ratio of lean meat to fat, making them incredibly tender, juicy, and flavorful without any gamey odor. Absolutely delicious!

The freshly made Bibim Guksu (spicy mixed noodles) was also incredibly tasty! The sauce wasn't overly spicy, offering a subtle, savory umami flavor that even those sensitive to heat or young children could enjoy. The noodles themselves were wonderfully chewy, making for a truly satisfying texture.

The combination of Dombe Gogi and Bibim Guksu was absolutely heavenly! 🤍

The Octopus Salad was tangy, sweet, and perfectly plump! It was fantastic as a side dish with the noodles, or even better, piled on top of the Dombe Gogi to really elevate the umami flavor. If I hadn't been driving, I would have ordered a glass of Makgeolli (Korean rice wine) right then and there to pair with it!
