I recently visited Forestella in Jeju, a spacious brunch cafe located in Songdang-ri, Gujwa-eup, which is truly the heart of eastern Jeju Island, and I brought my child along!

Right now, Jeju's fields are still vibrantly green, but if you visit in October or November, you'll experience the beautiful pampas grass scenery, which would be perfect for soaking in that autumn vibe!

With nearby attractions like Andol Oreum Secret Forest, Snoopy Garden, and Songdang Donghwa Village,

there are so many tourist spots in the vicinity,

making it a perfect spot to take a refreshing break during your trip!

As a spacious and pleasant large cafe,

I wholeheartedly recommend it for families traveling with children!

The parking lot is generously sized,

so, fitting for a large cafe, you can visit without any parking worries!

With Blue Bottle right across the street and many other fantastic tourist attractions in eastern Jeju near the cafe,

it's incredibly easy to plan your travel itinerary!

Indoor Atmosphere

The interior features impressive floor-to-ceiling windows.

From any seat on both the 1st and 2nd floors, you can enjoy the outdoor garden and the vibrant green fields stretching out before you!

At Forestella in Jeju cafe, immerse yourself in Jeju's picturesque scenery. It's pure healing!

The high ceilings and open space prevent it from feeling cramped, and the tables are generously spaced.

So, if you're visiting with children and parents, you can enjoy your meal comfortably without worrying about other tables!

Best of all, while the cafe itself is spacious and pleasant, I absolutely loved the feeling of being immersed in a lush forest!

There's also a delightful variety of seating options, from spacious family tables to cozy window seats, allowing you to choose your perfect spot!

It's a wonderful place for large families or group travelers, and I wholeheartedly recommend it as a fantastic restaurant near Jeju's Donghwa Village!

Outdoor Atmosphere

Step outside, and you'll find a spacious garden, perfect for a leisurely stroll with your child.

The lawn is just the right size,

so even when kids are running around, you can easily keep an eye on them.

It's perfect for a light stroll after your meal to help digest,

making it absolutely ideal.

Not just for kids, but it's also a wonderful spot for parents and grandparents alike,

which is why I highly recommend it as a fantastic restaurant in Gujwa, Jeju!

They say that in autumn, vast fields of silver grass unfold here,

so if you visit Jeju in October or November,

you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery even more.

Recommended Cafe in Jeju for Families with Kids

As expected from a large cafe nestled in the forest, the indoor and outdoor spaces are incredibly spacious,

so my child never felt cramped.

The aisles are also wide enough to comfortably push a stroller,

making it easy to get around,

so it would be comfortable even when traveling with a baby who isn't walking yet.

There were plenty of spacious tables available

to accommodate families.

They also have baby high chairs,

making meals with young babies comfortable and stress-free.

Brunch & Drink Menu Review

The brunch menu offers a wide variety of options,

so you can choose dishes that cater to both kids' and parents' tastes.

Our family, visiting with elementary school-aged children,

ordered the Brisket Poke, Avocado Shrimp Open Sandwich,

Cream Pasta with Hamburger Steak, and Jeju-style Strawberry Jumeoklleok!

Brisket Poke

With fresh vegetables and savory brisket,

it was light yet satisfying.

It was also a perfect dish to share with kids, without being too heavy.

You can even switch it to a vegan option!!!

Great news for vegetarians!

Avocado Shrimp Open Sandwich

The combination of creamy avocado and plump shrimp

made for a perfectly harmonized open sandwich.

It's light, delicious, and absolutely beautiful to look at,

making it a truly photogenic dish!

Cream Pasta with Hamburger Steak

A creamy pasta dish served with a Salisbury steak,

it was a particular hit with the little ones!

Its savory, smooth flavor made it absolutely perfect for sharing with the kids.

Jeju-style Strawberry Latte

You know those delicious Jeju-style strawberry lattes, don't you?

Sweet and refreshing, it was the perfect treat for my child after our meal!
