My two friends and I recently traveled to Jeju
and stayed at The First 70 Hotel.
When you're traveling as a group of three,
finding the right accommodation can often be a bit tricky
because of room occupancy limits.
But this place had rooms perfectly suited for three people,
which made booking so much easier!
With a solid review score of 8.9
and over 1,300 accumulated reviews,
I went ahead and booked without a second thought.
So, what was our actual stay like?
I'm excited to share all the details with you!
The First 70 Hotel: Location & Essential Information
The address is 182 Seogwi-dong, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
It's a mere 3-minute walk to Maeil Olle Market,
and the bustling food alley
is just 10 minutes away on foot.

Check-in is at 3 PM,
and check-out is at 11 AM.
If you're planning to check in after 10 PM,
remember that prior notice is a must –
definitely something to note for late arrivals!
All rooms are non-smoking,
and since disposable amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste
aren't provided,
it's best to pack your own.
*Forgot something? No worries, there's a convenience store on the first floor!
Parking is free and self-service,
so you won't have to worry about complicated mechanical parking systems.
They also have slow EV charging stations available (for a fee).
Cooking isn't permitted in the rooms.
If you're dreaming of an ocean view,
it's available for Deluxe rooms and above,
with an additional charge of ~$14 per night.
Since we were mainly looking for a place to simply rest our heads,
we didn't opt for an ocean view!
Early check-in or late check-out is also available
for ~$7 per hour,
payable directly at the front desk.

You'll find a 24-hour convenience store right on the first floor.
The 11th-floor Sky Garden
is designed like a charming rooftop
and is accessible from midnight until 10 PM.
Guests receive two complimentary bottles of water
and fresh towels daily.
They also offer a convenient luggage storage service,
which is a huge plus for those traveling without a car,
allowing you to explore freely even after check-out
without the burden of your bags!
Breakfast is served at the Blue Restaurant on the 1st floor
from 7 AM
to 10 AM,
and costs ~$19 per adult.

From Wednesday to Sunday evenings,
they also run an all-you-can-drink dinner buffet
prepared by a chef from a Michelin-starred restaurant,
so if you're looking for a special evening,
it's worth checking out.
As Seogwipo Market was close by,
we decided to grab dinner there!
The First 70 Hotel: Triple Room Options Offer Amazing Value for Money
All rooms are over 30㎡, so they're generally spacious,
and they even have multiple options for three guests,
such as Superior Triple,
and Deluxe Twin rooms.
Even the standard rooms come with a bathtub.
If you've ever had trouble finding a room for three friends traveling together, like us,
I highly recommend looking for accommodations with a variety of triple room options.

Our Real Stay Review at The First 70 Hotel (for three friends)
Even with three of us staying in a triple room,
it didn't feel cramped at all.
The location was great for the price,
and we were really satisfied,
making us feel it was a truly value-for-money accommodation.
Maeil Olle Market is only a 3-minute walk away,
so we grabbed some fruit mochi from the market to enjoy
and shared it in our room.
Having the accommodation so close to the market
really added to the fun of our trip.
After shopping,
being able to come straight back to the hotel
made planning our itinerary much easier.
However, please note that consuming seafood in the rooms
is strictly prohibited,
so delicacies like sashimi or Daks Saewu (local shrimp)
must be enjoyed outside!
While it's already a great value accommodation,
you can book it even cheaper

For those of you traveling as a trio,
and looking for accommodation
near Seogwipo Market,
I think this place offers
both a satisfying location and price.
With plenty of accumulated reviews and high ratings,
even though it was my first time visiting this accommodation,
I booked it without much worry.
Just be sure to check regulations in advance,
such as the non-provision of disposable amenities and the prohibition of consuming seafood,
and you'll have a comfortable stay.
