Today, I'm excited to share my recent visit and glowing recommendation for <Eunhee's Haejangguk>, a renowned spot for "hangover soup" (haejangguk) that's a staple on any Jeju Island itinerary.
We were determined to try a famous haejangguk restaurant in Jeju, so on the final day of our trip, on our way to the airport, we decided to stop for a late lunch.
Located right by Hamdeok Beach, the views were absolutely stunning, and the rich, warm broth of the haejangguk made for a truly satisfying meal!

Eunhee's Haejangguk's Hamdeok branch sits directly across from Hamdeok Beach, along the scenic oceanfront road.
Its clean, substantial exterior makes it easy to spot from a distance.
The interior is spacious and inviting. The window seats, in particular, offer panoramic views of Hamdeok Beach, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the Jeju sea while you dine.
Since it opens bright and early at 6 AM, it's an excellent choice for an authentic Korean breakfast near Hamdeok. We visited around 3 PM on a weekday, well past the typical lunch rush, which meant we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed meal.
The dedicated parking lot right in front of the restaurant is quite spacious, making our visit incredibly convenient and stress-free.

Eunhee's Haejangguk in Jeju features these three signature dishes, alongside other hearty options like Haejang/Naejang Jeongol (hotpot) and Galbi Manduguk (short rib dumpling soup).
Our family decided to order all three main dishes to get a full taste of their specialties.
This dish truly earned its "restaurant approved" stamp! The broth is both clean and incredibly rich, with a perfect harmony of tender beef, crunchy bean sprouts, and savory congealed ox blood.
From the very first spoonful, the depth of flavor is simply outstanding!
It's not overly spicy or aggressive, yet it delivers a refreshing and satisfying taste that keeps you wanting more.
Among the three dishes we tried, the Beef Haejangguk was hands-down our favorite.
The Hanwoo Naejangtang featured incredibly fresh and tender beef offal, with absolutely no unpleasant odor – a testament to its quality.
I don't typically order offal soup, so I was curious to try it, and it was surprisingly delicious.
However, I found the flavor profiles of the Hanwoo Naejangtang and the Beef Haejangguk to be somewhat similar. If I had to pick just one, I'd lean towards the Haejangguk for a slightly more distinct experience!
The Galbitang offered a wonderfully clean and savory broth.
The short ribs were cooked to perfection, incredibly tender – a flavor that's sure to please both kids and adults.
With a generous portion of meat, one bowl is definitely enough to fill you up! If you're a fan of Galbitang, you absolutely have to give this one a try!
From the freshness of the ingredients to the incredible depth of the broth, our experience at Eunhee's Haejangguk near Jeju's Hamdeok Beach was truly satisfying.
It's the perfect spot when you're craving a hearty and authentic meal during your Jeju adventure.
I also highly recommend it for solo travelers looking for a delicious meal in Hamdeok!
This was my first visit during this trip, but I can confidently say I'll be stopping by again on my next Jeju getaway.
