Eojjeodafarm Nandaemun Review 2026: Healthy Lunch near Seoul Station
Craving a healthy, delicious Korean meal? Eojjeodafarm Nandaemun offers farm-fresh ingredients in a vibrant Local Stitch Hoehyeon setting near Seoul Station.

There's a spot in Hoehyeon I've been eyeing for ages, and I finally got to check it out!
It's none other than Eojjeoda Nongbu Namdaemun Branch, nestled within Local Stitch Hoehyeon!
True to its name, 'Eojjeoda Nongbu' (meaning 'Farmer by Chance'), this is where you can savor delicious and wholesome Korean cuisine crafted with fresh, healthy ingredients they've farmed themselves.

Local Stitch Hoehyeon is super easy to find, located right in front of Hoehyeon Station Exit 4. And if you're coming from Seoul Station, it's just about a 10-minute stroll!
📍 Eojjeoda Nongbu Namdaemun Branch
1F, Eojjeoda Nongbu Namdaemun Branch, 6 Toegye-ro 4-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul
Beyond Eojjeoda Nongbu,
It's also home to a collection of truly hip and happening spots, like Nono Shop – Julian's zero-waste store and vegan cafe, the stylish independent bookstore Still Books, and the Ilkwang Lighting Showroom!

Comprising a total of five charming buildings, both big and small, it’s a delightful space to wander around and discover! :)

However, if you're visiting during lunchtime, my top tip is to head straight to Eojjeoda Nongbu Namdaemun Branch and put your name down for a table first!
You'll find it easily on the 1st and 2nd floors of Building A, just to the left of the Local Stitch entrance!
I stopped by around noon on a Saturday, and there were already 7 groups waiting...!

After putting your name down,
I highly recommend taking your time to leisurely explore the other wonderful spaces within Local Stitch while you wait!

I was able to get in after waiting for around 20 minutes!

It beautifully showcases the story of why Eojjeoda Nongbu began farming, truly 'starting their cuisine from the very soil'.
The perilla oil they use here is the famous Neoraean Perilla Oil from Hwacheon, Gangwon-do, boasting 100% domestic perilla seeds!
It's also available for separate purchase, and it's ~$44 for 900ml.

The very first thing that grabbed my attention as soon as I walked in was the vibrant open kitchen right in the heart of the restaurant!
The chefs were busily preparing dishes, and every single item that emerged looked absolutely mouthwatering!

On the first floor, you'll find tables primarily set for two and four people.

Since it can get quite busy and crowded, I highly recommend securing your table first before heading up to order!

Pork, chicken, tofu, and rice are all domestically sourced!
Water, bowls, wet wipes, tissues, and cutlery can all be freely taken from the self-service bar.

I also went up to check out the second floor.

You can get to the second floor via the wooden staircase near the entrance,
and they say it's open until 7 PM.

The seating on the second floor feels a bit more spacious and comfortable!

There's also a kiosk and a self-service bar on the second floor, so you can place your order there too.
Eojjeoda Nongbu Namdaemun Menu

The menu at Eojjeoda Nongbu Namdaemun is simple.
Broadly speaking,
there are three types of rice bowls: Garden, Curry, and Pasta,
with simple side dishes (Green Salad, Mini Myeongnan Rice Bowl) available as add-ons.

I ordered the Hot Pork Garden,
and since I was curious about the texture of the Mungae Tofu, I added half a portion! (+~$1)

It had fresh vegetables and pork that felt like *suyuk* (boiled pork slices), topped with a soybean paste-based sauce :)

I started by trying the Mungae Tofu, which I was so curious about.
Just like its name, the fluffy, soft texture of the Mungae Tofu was absolutely charming! It reminded me a bit of the Chodang Sundubu (soft tofu stew) from Gangneung.
If you love tofu, I highly recommend adding this as a topping!

The 'Hot' in 'Hot Pork' made me a bit worried it would be too spicy,
but it turned out to be a soybean paste sauce with just a hint of spiciness, so it wasn't overly hot at all!
Kind of like a milder *gochujang jjigae* (chili paste stew)?
I'm not usually a fan of overly strong sauces, but this was perfect for my palate! :)

Beyond just vegetables, the toppings were surprisingly diverse, including kidney beans, chickpeas, mushrooms, and pickled radish,
and most importantly, all the ingredients were so fresh, making it incredibly delicious.
As you dig through the 'Garden' bowl, you'll find rice at the bottom. I recommend eating the toppings little by little first, then gradually mixing them with the rice!
It was truly a satisfying, light, and healthy meal, and I totally get why it's such a popular lunch spot! :)
However, men might find the portion size a bit small. Since the prices aren't high overall, if you're really hungry, adding a Mini Myeongnan Rice Bowl (~$2) or extra toppings would be a good idea!
This was my review of Eojjeoda Nongbu Namdaemun, a spot I'd definitely revisit if I'm ever near Namdaemun again.
