1. My Visit: Waiting & Parking
📍 Dotori Kitchen Main Branch 1st Floor, 59 Bukseong-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province
Dotori Kitchen in Jeju had been on my radar for a while. A couple of years ago, I tried to visit during a trip to Jeju, but the wait was just too long, and I had to skip it.
This time, during my 2026 trip, I happened to be passing by the area. My stomach was rumbling, and to my surprise, the waiting line wasn't nearly as intimidating, so I decided to finally give it a try!
You can check the operating hours in the photo above, but for your convenience, they are open
daily from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no days off or break times.
The last order is taken at 4:00 PM.
I visited without a reservation and ended up waiting for about 30 minutes.
The waiting area isn't very spacious, so we opted to wait comfortably in our car.
For parking, you can either use the nearby free public parking lot or park directly in front of the restaurant.
Luckily, there was a spot right in front of the restaurant, so that's where we parked.
2. My Review of Dotori Kitchen's Main Branch, Jeju Island
Inside Dotori Kitchen, you'll find a cozy, warm wooden interior, creating a really inviting atmosphere.
For two of us, we ordered:
Citrus Soba + Seaweed Tofu Skin Sushi
Citrus Soba + Shrimp & Potato Croquettes
We each got a different set to try both sides!
The signature menu item, Citrus Soba, features fresh Jeju citrus (cheonggyul) slices delicately placed atop the chilled soba noodles.
The idea is to enjoy the citrus and soba together in each bite.
You get a wonderfully refreshing and tangy flavor from the citrus in the soba. I was genuinely surprised by how well the flavors harmonized!
Personally, I preferred the regular soba flavor a bit more (just a preference!), so I only had a few bites with the citrus.
However, my friend, who was with me, absolutely loved it and even finished all of my citrus slices!
As for the side dishes,
the Seaweed Tofu Skin Sushi and the Shrimp & Potato Croquettes...!
Both my friend and I agreed that the Shrimp & Potato Croquettes were tastier than the Seaweed Tofu Skin Sushi!
3. Overall Verdict
Dotori Kitchen, with its intriguing name ("Acorn Kitchen"), unique menu, and consistent long waits, had always been a must-visit spot on my Jeju travel wish list.
With its surprisingly harmonious menu combinations and decent flavors, I could absolutely see why so many people make the effort to visit!
Given its convenient location near Jeju Airport, I'd say it's definitely worth a visit if you're ever on Jeju Island.
And that concludes my review of Dotori Kitchen, a delightful restaurant near Jeju Airport!
