🍝Dongnip Millbang in Ikseondong's Hanok Street is Perfect For:
✔︎Those seeking a fantastic pasta restaurant in Ikseondong Hanok Street.
✔︎Pizza lovers looking for a delicious bite in Ikseondong.
✔︎Couples planning a charming date in the Ikseondong Hanok Village.

When exploring popular dining spots in Seoul, waiting in line is often a given. My sister and I usually prefer finding appealing places without the hassle of a long queue. On a recent visit to Ikseondong, we were planning to have Korean BBQ for dinner, so we decided to wander around for a lighter lunch option. That's how we stumbled upon Dongnip Millbang! The menu displayed outside looked incredibly tempting, and to our delight, there was no wait. We knew we had to go in.

The interior, while cozy, was a bit smaller than we expected, creating an intimate and charming atmosphere.

After settling into a two-person table, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the menu was presented on a tablet rather than a traditional book. With our hunger growing, we quickly set aside our surprise and delved into the tempting options. Everything looked so delicious!
Since we hadn't done any research beforehand, we asked the staff for recommendations on their most popular dishes. Following their advice, we ordered the Shrimp Garlic Oil Spaghettini for ~$12, the Jambon Ham Pizza for ~$15, and a refreshing Raspberry Blossom Ade for ~$5.
‼️It wasn't until I was writing this that I noticed they also offer set menus, which are typically more affordable. So, if you visit, definitely check out their set menu options!‼️
Shrimp Garlic Oil Spaghettini

Honestly, I expected a smaller portion, but the serving was quite generous! The shrimp were plump and incredibly succulent, offering a delightful texture with every bite.
Jambon Ham Pizza

At ~$15, the price for this pizza initially felt a bit high, but it was absolutely delicious! Jambon dishes can often be overly salty, but Dongnip Millbang's version was perfectly balanced and incredibly flavorful. Highly recommended!👍🏻
Raspberry Blossom Ade

A ~$5 price tag for an ade might seem steep, especially in Ikseondong where prices can sometimes feel inflated. It made me realize that everything seems to be going up! However, I figured it was a better choice than a ~$3 soda. Not only did the ade come with a beautiful presentation, but it also offered a delightful visual 'performance' and tasted absolutely perfect.❤️ It was definitely worth the price!‼️
✔︎ My Review of Dongnip Millbang, an Ikseondong Pasta & Pizza Gem
I really appreciated that there was no waiting time. The pasta was delicious, but the restroom was quite small. The door lock was also positioned higher than my eye level, which was a bit disorienting at first for someone shorter like me.

The handwashing area was also very compact, making it a bit awkward to use. Aside from these minor restroom inconveniences, the experience was quite enjoyable.
