Mouthwatering Jeju Black Pork Domin Sanghoe Woljeongri |

The Exterior
We arrived at Domin Sanghoe, a beautiful spot surrounded by traditional Jeju stone walls where you can enjoy world-class black pork with a stunning ocean view.

They specialize in barley straw-seared black pork. While I am not usually a huge fan of heavily smoked BBQ, this place completely changed my mind. There is no overpowering smoky taste—just incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly chewy meat. It was an absolute highlight of our trip!

Menu & Pricing
The main options are the signature Black Pork Geungeogi (~1.3 lbs / 600g) and Kkodeulsal (~0.9 lbs / 400g).
Kkodeulsal is a premium, ultra-chewy specialty cut from the back of the neck.
You can also order individual cuts like pork neck, pork belly (~0.9 lbs / 400g or ~0.4 lbs / 200g), and pork cheek (~0.4 lbs / 200g).

They offer excellent lunch special sets as well! These value sets come with juicy pork, a rich kimchi or soybean stew, steamed rice, and a soft drink.
Seating Area

The interior is spacious, featuring about 8 large, comfortable round tables perfect for groups and families.
The Main Event: Premium Aged Pork

You can tell the meat is expertly aged. The cuts are incredibly fresh, thick, and premium.

Before coming to your table, they pre-sear the meat over a barley straw fire to lock in the rich juices.

The thickness of the meat is absolutely mind-blowing! Even better, the friendly staff grills everything to perfection right in front of you, so you can just sit back and relax.
We ordered the Geungeogi set, which beautifully combines thick-cut pork neck and juicy pork belly. Both cuts were incredibly flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection!

The pork is incredibly tender, bursting with rich juices, and thick enough to give you the perfect bite. This is hands down my top-rated pork BBQ spot in Jeju!

The Side Dishes
The side dishes here are outstanding, featuring:
- Mel-jeot (Jeju-style salted anchovy dipping sauce)
- Pickled onions with local Jeju sea-tangle (tot)
- Wasabi, savory soybean paste, and raw garlic
- Clean, refreshing white kimchi
- Crispy green onion and lettuce salad
- A unique, flavorful breadcrumb salt
- Sweet and spicy radish salad

Every side dish is clean, crisp, and pairs beautifully with the rich pork. Even the Mel-jeot anchovy sauce was perfectly balanced and not fishy at all!
Self-Serve Side Bar
They offer a self-serve bar where you can easily refill your fresh vegetables and side dishes at your own convenience. Super convenient!

We also ordered the Kimchi Cold Noodles (Kimchi-mari-guksu) along with some rice and stew. The cold broth was incredibly refreshing, sweet, and tangy—the ultimate palate cleanser after the savory BBQ!

As a sweet touch, they provide complimentary fresh Jeju tangerines in a basket for guests to grab. Plus, if you leave a review, you can get traditional Jeju Omegi rice cakes or Gwajeul honey crackers! This place is truly exceptional.

I will absolutely return to Domin Sanghoe next time I visit Jeju Island!
It takes about 50 minutes by rental car from Jeju Airport. The restaurant has a parking space that can accommodate 4 to 5 cars.
The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. We operate without any scheduled closing days, so you can comfortably visit according to your itinerary.
The black pork is served after being lightly pre-grilled over a barley straw fire. Although the meat is thick, the staff will grill it entirely for you, allowing you to enjoy your meal comfortably.
A variety of side dishes are provided by default, including Jeju meljeot (salted anchovy sauce), tot (hijiki seaweed), pickled onions, white kimchi, and breadcrumb salt. Any additional vegetables or side dishes you need can be conveniently refilled at the self-service bar in the restaurant.
