The Menu: Handmade Noodles & Savory Sides
Here is the menu for Dodohanmyeon Seongsu Main Branch.
The menu features their signature handmade udon alongside massive inari sushi,
crispy tempura, and various combo sets.
We went with two of their most popular sets:
Chiku-tama Bukkake Udon Set and
Maze Udon Set.

To start, they serve a refreshing salad,
dipping sauce for the tempura, pickled yellow radish,
and spicy pickled peppers to cut through any richness.
Chiku-tama Bukkake Udon Set – ~$12

This cold udon dish features incredibly bouncy noodles topped with a crispy
chikuwa (fish cake) tempura and a soft-boiled egg (tamago) tempura,
all swimming in a savory, umami-rich tsuyu broth aged for 48 hours.
The smoky, deep flavor of the katsuobushi broth
was absolutely divine!

The set comes with a choice of inari sushi and tempura.
We picked the salmon inari sushi and shrimp tempura.
The inari sushi was absolutely massive,
and the shrimp tempura was incredibly crispy with a sweet, plump shrimp inside!
Maze Udon Set – ~$11

Next up is the Maze Udon Set!
Having loved their unique cutlassfish udon on a previous visit,
I wanted to try their brothless mixed noodles.
This bowl is loaded with fresh toppings, ground meat, and an egg yolk.

The handmade noodles are incredibly chewy,
absorbing the peppery, savory sauce perfectly.
It has a delightful kick from the black pepper and spices,
keeping every bite exciting and clean-tasting.

When you order, don't forget to opt-in for the complimentary service rice.
Mixing the leftover savory sauce with white rice at the end
is an absolute must-do!

For this set, I chose the tuna inari sushi and chicken karaage (fried chicken).
The chicken was spectacularly crispy on the outside and incredibly tender and juicy on the inside.
The tuna inari sushi was overflowing with savory tuna salad topping—so satisfying!
