Hey there, it's Topy, your go-to spontaneous traveler! .ᐟ
During my last trip to Seoul, after checking out of my accommodation,
I had lunch at Lotte World Mall.
This is a review of my visit to 'Dim Dim Sum Lotte World Mall branch,' a Hong Kong-style dim sum specialty restaurant located on the B1 level of Lotte World Mall.
I'll share the set menu for two, its price,
and even parking and weekend waiting information!
Dim Dim Sum Lotte World Mall
🏠 Address | B1 Lotte World Mall, 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul (Sincheon-dong 29) Near Muji in Zone 3355
⏰ Operating Hours | Daily 10:30 AM ~ 10:00 PM (Last Order 9:00 PM)
☑️ Opens at 12 PM on Seollal & Chuseok holidays, 2-person menu, 3-person menu

I visited Dim Dim Sum Lotte World Mall in Jamsil on a public holiday during lunchtime,
and the waiting line was incredibly long..😮💨
I registered on Catchtable (a local waiting list app) on the spot and waited.
It felt like about 30 minutes after registering.

I was expecting about an hour, but after putting our names down and browsing around Muji nearby, it was our turn surprisingly quickly! !
Since the situation varies day by day, for those planning to visit on a weekend,
I recommend expecting a wait of at least 30 minutes to an hour. ㅠㅠ
Dim Dim Sum 2-Person Set Menu Composition
[2-Person Set ~$31]
Har Gow (4 pcs)
Siu Mai (4 pcs)
Xiao Long Bao (4 pcs)
Eggplant Dim Sum (3 pcs)
Spring Rolls (3 pcs)
Pork Char Siu Rice (1 bowl)
Cucumber Pickles (1 plate)
Jasmine Tea (1 teapot)

Jasmine tea always arrives first at every table!
It's great to have before the meal, and it really helped cut through any richness.
My husband, who was trying jasmine tea for the first time, said it was delicious!

I'm a light eater, but my husband is a big eater,
so I wanted to choose the 3-person set,
but that day, we both had a hangover, so we opted for the 2-person set.
If even one person in your party eats a lot,
the 3-person set might be a better choice!

When I visited the Parnas Mall branch previously,
those cucumber pickles weren't bad, but perhaps due to the hangover,
I simply couldn't eat them because of the mala spice aroma 🤢
Aside from that, I truly enjoyed the other dim sum varieties,
and had a fantastic hangover dim sum feast, haha!

If you're ordering à la carte, I also recommend the Pork Char Siu Rice.
It's Cantonese-style pork char siu, so the flavor is unique,
and it's surprisingly appealing when eaten with bok choy, haha.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. Do I get a parking discount if I dine at Lotte World Mall?
A1. No. According to Lotte World Mall policy, free parking discounts are not provided for dining at restaurants or cafes.
Q2. Is the 2-person set portion enough for two adults?
A2. With 4 types of dim sum, fried dishes, rice, and tea, it's a sufficient amount for two adults to eat heartily. However, if someone in your party has a big appetite, we recommend the 3-person set.
Q3. How long is the wait?
A3. During weekend peak hours (12:00~14:00 / 17:30~19:30), waiting times can exceed 30 minutes to an hour. Therefore, we recommend registering for a waiting list immediately upon arrival and then exploring the mall while you wait.
