2 Wooden Pendants Set: ~$1
Animal Key Holder: ~$3
Experience Fee (Children's Class): ~$1 x 2
Material fees vary depending on the woodcraft item, but they start from affordable prices (as low as ~$1),
and many items were priced around ~$7, so you can enjoy the experience without breaking the bank.
While a folding low table (~$36) and a cutting board (~$28) are among the most expensive items, they're still much more affordable than buying them outright.
Plus, there are various discount benefits for woodcraft experience fees.
I even got a 30% discount using my Kkumnamu Sarang Card (multi-child family card), making the experience even more budget-friendly!

Once you have your receipt, head up to the second floor,
where the rooms are divided into Children's Class, Beginner's Class, and Intermediate Class,
allowing you to enter the appropriate room and participate freely.

Stepping into the Children's Class, I was greeted by a spacious and comfortable area, exuding a cozy and warm atmosphere.
Some visitors had already arrived and were busy with their crafts.

Inside the workshop, various woodcraft pieces are on display,
and in the back, there's a photo zone featuring Hanbit Tower, a symbol of Daejeon, and the nostalgic Bomunsan cable car.
This means you can explore and enjoy the experience freely, whether it's before, after, or even during your crafting session.

After entering, put on an apron, find a comfortable spot, and start your experience.
A staff member will bring you the materials and kindly explain how to proceed.
If you encounter any difficulties during the workshop, the staff members are always there to kindly assist you, so there's no need to worry.

The activities are designed to be easily enjoyed even by young children.
Children get to touch, shape, and color the wood themselves.
It was truly wonderful to see them so focused on working with the wood.

The children were incredibly proud of their creations once they finished them themselves,
and being able to take their completed works home brought them even greater joy and satisfaction.
From simple trinkets to practical wooden items, there's a wide range of projects to create,
making this a fantastic place to build special memories with your children.

and you can explore it freely during operating hours.

This is the view looking down from the second floor.
While not vast, it's a wonderful space to learn about different types of wood and their uses,
and it's filled with engaging activities that captured the children's interest.
It was a fantastic opportunity to delve deeper into the world of wood!

The Wood Video Experience Hall covers the theme of the four seasons – spring, summer, autumn, and winter – across 12 months, showcasing how trees transform with each season.
It was a truly enriching experience, learning about different types of wood, their applications, and the vital importance trees hold.

We got to color various trees and watch them appear on screen,
solve puzzles,
discover the characteristics of different trees,
and even take photos to experience various tree stories from fairy tales.
The wooden music boxes, which you could play yourself, had such a clear and warm, beautiful sound!
The kids absolutely loved the game where they had to save our warming planet. Haha!

It was an opportunity to learn about the various types and uses of wood, as well as the critical importance of environmental conservation and the preciousness of nature.
Nature Playground (Outdoor Sandpit)
Free to use

Unlike the Woody Imagination Playground (indoor playground), which has an admission fee,
the Sand Playground is completely free to use.
You'll find the Sand Playground if you pass between the Woody Imagination Playground building and the Woodcraft Experience Center building, and head to the back.

As the weather was getting colder, the ground was covered with a green tarp, but it was still accessible.
While some facilities weren't in use, there were still jungle gyms, climbing structures, and more,
plus, with plenty of sand toys, it was just perfect for kids to spend some time.

There are benches around the sand playground, so guardians can relax for a bit while the kids play,
and there are hand-washing stations and a dust blower, so if you visit on a nice day, you're sure to have an even more fulfilling time.
