you'll naturally
find yourself stopping!
It's none other than
Yuseongcheon and Gapcheon Stream banks.
Stretching from Yuseong-gu Office to in front of KAIST,
this long cherry blossom path
is a place where cherry blossoms, forsythias,
and even the stream banks
create a beautiful harmony.
This time around,
with daffodils also blooming here,
it's being called
the Ultimate Spring Flower Set.

Daejeon's cherry blossom hotspots,
Yuseongcheon and Gapcheon Stream banks,
cover quite a wide area.
Starting from in front of Yuseong-gu Office,
a long, continuous cherry blossom line
has been formed.
🚗 Parking Information
We recommend using the free parking lot at Yurim Park.
It doesn't have a huge number of spaces,
so it can be a bit tight on weekends.
However, based on a weekday visit, there was plenty of room
to park.
After parking at Yurim Park,
we recommend a course that lets you explore both the stream banks and Yurim Park.
If you're up for a slightly longer stroll,
you can even take in the cherry blossoms at KAIST as well.
2. Cherry Blossom Bloom Status
As of the visit date (April 1, 2026),
the cherry blossoms are in full bloom (100%),
and it's a beautiful "cherry blossom rain."
Overall,
now is the most beautiful timing to visit.
This week is
the peak viewing week.
There's rain forecast for this weekend,
so the blossoms are expected to fall quickly.
Don't delay your visit!
4. Cherry Blossom Spots
The cherry blossoms around Yuseongcheon Stream are so beautiful,
you're guaranteed to get a picture-perfect shot no matter where you take it.
What's truly special here
is the unique combination of
vibrant yellow forsythia
and delicate cherry blossoms.
The colors are so vivid,
No matter how you capture it, the photos turn out beautiful.
Especially on days with beautiful weather,
you can even catch the reflections
shimmering on the riverside.
On the day I visited, it was a bit cloudy,
which was a slight shame,
but it was still incredibly beautiful.
Normally,
this area too
would have been bursting with cherry blossoms...
However, due to tram construction,
the cherry blossoms are sadly gone. T_T
What's great is that this spot is beloved by many,
not only for daytime visits
but also for enchanting night strolls.
It's perfect as a cycling route!

5. The Daffodil Spot
The Daffodil Spot is located
below Eoeun Bridge,
on the lower riverside towards the east side of Yurim Park (near the Lawn Square).
This section is absolutely buzzing these days!
A cherry blossom and daffodil combination? Talk about a dream!
The vibrant yellow daffodils stretch out beautifully,
and above them, cherry blossoms and forsythias blend together in harmony,
meaning even casual snaps
capture a perfect burst of color.
The window to see the daffodils
alongside the cherry blossoms
is almost closing – now's practically your last chance!
Towards the back,
the daffodils haven't fully bloomed yet,
so I think you'll be able to enjoy them
for a bit longer.
It's also a great idea to explore Yurim Park
alongside this spot.
Inside the park, too,
spring flowers have started to bloom one by one,
so you can enjoy a lovely stroll while

it will be an even richer
spring outing course.
5. Top Tips for Your Visit

✔️ Recommended Route: Yuseongcheon Stream → Yurim Park → Gapcheon Stream → KAIST
✔️ Time Needed: A quick 1 hour, or a leisurely 2-3 hours
✔️ Feel free to bring a picnic mat for a relaxing outing.
✔️ Exploring by bike makes it even more enjoyable.
