Daejeon Accommodation Recommendation: A candid review of the Yuseong Hot Spring Sauna Room

If you're planning an overnight stay during your trip to Daejeon (대전),

you'd want a place where you can truly immerse yourself in the Yuseong Hot Spring (유성온천) experience,

not just somewhere to sleep, right?

Looking for somewhere affordable,

yet perfect for unwinding in comfort within your own room?

That's exactly what I found at Aneuk Hotel & Spa Daejeon Yuseong (아늑호텔 앤 스파 대전유성점)!

With a private dry sauna + hot spring water bathtub +

free ramen bar, my satisfaction was incredibly high!

Especially if you love saunas, pay attention!!!

1. Daejeon Accommodation Recommendation: Location & Parking

Aneuk Hotel & Spa Daejeon Yuseong is conveniently located

about a 7-minute walk from both Guaam Station (구암역) and Yuseong Oncheon Station (유성온천역),

making it easily accessible even for travelers exploring Daejeon by public transport.

The building is divided into Blocks A and B,

and with an outdoor parking lot on the 1st floor and an underground indoor parking lot,

it can accommodate about 40 cars in total.

So, even if you're traveling by car,

you won't have to worry about parking.

2. Why I Chose Aneuk Hotel & Spa Yuseong

The main reason I chose this place was

the Yuseong hot spring water and the in-room dry sauna!

The sauna room I stayed in this time had a private sauna right inside the room,

and as soon as I opened the door, a wonderful cypress scent wafted out~

Once inside, I sweated more than I expected,

which was perfect for truly unwinding.

After a good sweat in the sauna,

and then drawing Yuseong hot spring water into the bathtub right away,

it was pure bliss!

Not having to go to a public bathhouse,

and being able to enjoy both a sauna and a hot spring

in my own room at once was the biggest advantage.

Everyone knows how amazing Anuk (아늑) bedding is, right?

Thanks to those incredibly comfortable neck pillows, I slept like an absolute dream.

Plus, with Netflix, YouTube, Disney, TVING, and more,

all those OTT services available, it was absolutely perfect for unwinding on the plush bed after a rejuvenating hot spring soak!

The room also came with a refrigerator, 3 complimentary bottles of water,

paper cups, a hairdryer, and various types of combs,

all thoughtfully prepared.

From shampoo, conditioner, and body wash,

to toner, lotion, and hand wash,

all the basic amenities were provided.

Any additional disposable items could be purchased at the lobby!

What was particularly nice was the tea set.

The next morning, I enjoyed a warm cup of tea and relaxed,

and these little thoughtful touches really made a difference, you know? It's the small things!

3. Free Self-Service Ramen Bar & Laundry Room

And on the first floor lobby,

there was a coffee machine, microwave, water purifier, and ice maker,

plus a free ramen bar and a laundry room!!!

From Shin Ramyun to Jjapagetti, Neoguri, Jin Ramyun,

and even Sarigomtang, there was a surprisingly wide variety.

You cook them yourself using a Han River Ramyun machine (한강라면 기계).

After eating lots of bread or greasy food while traveling,

a bowl of ramen on the day I came back was just so delicious, haha!

The **Ramen Bar operates from 4 PM to 11 PM**, so

even if you come back after dinner, it's the perfect setup for a delicious late-night snack, haha.

Bottled water and pickled radish are also free!

During the same hours, the 1st-floor laundry room is also

available for free, which seemed pretty useful

for long-term trips or summer travel to Daejeon (대전).

Luggage storage is available, and in the lobby,

you can also rent chargers and hair straighteners :)

4. Daejeon Value-for-Money Hotel Price Comparison

Even with the same conditions, Trip.com was much cheaper!

This is based on the sauna room I stayed in,

but a **regular standard room** without a dry sauna

can be **booked for around ₩50,000 (~$37)** :)

**All rooms have bathtubs, and they use Yuseong Hot Spring (유성온천) water!**

So, who would I recommend it to?

I especially recommend it to

**couples who want to quietly enjoy a hot spring and sauna together**

**while traveling to Yuseong Hot Spring, instead of a public bathhouse,**

**and Daejeon travelers who want to save on accommodation while genuinely relaxing.**

With a free ramen bar and laundry room,

it was also great for long-term or backpacking trips.

But most of all, the sauna was what I remembered most.

Breathing in the cypress scent and sweating it all out,

then dipping into the hot spring bathtub,

and finally lying down on the fluffy bed,

I truly felt like I had a proper rest!
