The Asgard Theater, home to "Switch," is incredibly easy to find, just a short walk from Hyehwa Station Exit 1. The exterior itself hints at the thrilling (and slightly spooky) experience awaiting inside, so you won't miss it!

What truly drew me to "Switch" was the constant emphasis on it being a "4D play." A 4D theatrical experience? My imagination couldn't quite grasp it, which made it all the more intriguing. Among the many horror plays in Daehangno, this unique 4D promise immediately sealed the deal for me!

The box office opens 20 minutes before the show. I arrived a bit early, so it was closed, but if you time it right, you'll be able to collect your tickets smoothly.

And here they are! The tickets even come with a little charm, which I thought was a clever touch, instantly building up the excitement for what was to come.

After grabbing your tickets, there aren't many special instructions, but it's a good idea to quickly read through the provided guidelines.

The actual performance hall was quite long and narrow, but the seats had backrests, making them reasonably comfortable.

Honestly, if I hadn't seen another play called "Oh My God" before this horror performance, I might have been disappointed by the small size of the theater. But having experienced "Oh My God," I understood why it was designed this way, so my expectations were well-managed.

Here's a little insider tip for you:

If you want to take in the overall performance, avoid the very front row unless you're seated perfectly center. I was in the front row, slightly off to the side, and while I could see everything, I felt I missed some of the broader theatrical scope due to the long, narrow layout.

However, if your main goal is to fully immerse yourself in the 4D effects...

Then the front row is absolutely the way to go!

That being said, don't go in expecting Hollywood-level 4D cinema effects; you might be a tad underwhelmed. 😉 But the actors' passionate performances were truly outstanding! There were a couple of slightly slower moments, but nothing that detracted from the overall experience. 😉
