Cuchara Seoul Times Square: Tacos, Menu, & How to Order
Discover Cuchara at Seoul's Times Square! This guide covers their customizable tacos, burritos, and salads, plus menu recommendations, calorie info, and ordering tips.

After a long while, I finally visited my beloved Cuchara at Times Square!
I've been to Cuchara many times, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover there's one in Yeongdeungpo! :)

Cuchara Yeongdeungpo Times Square is located on B1 (Basement 1), near the connecting passage between Times Square and Shinsegae Department Store.
📍 Cuchara Times Square Branch
B1, Times Square, 15 Yeongjung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
I visited around 1 PM on a weekend, and it was incredibly crowded, so I highly recommend securing a seat first!

Since there were three of us, after a short wait and a bit of strategic spot-finding, we managed to snag a four-person table inside.

Cuchara Menu & Calories

There are two main ways to order at Cuchara.
For the Best Combo Menus, they come with popular toppings already chosen, so you can simply order by menu name without having to pick individual toppings – super convenient!
Prices vary depending on the toppings and configuration, but they typically range from ~$7 to ~$11!
I highly recommend these for anyone trying Cuchara for the first time :)

However, if you want to enjoy Cuchara with a bit more variety and personalize your meal, creating your own custom menu is a fantastic option!

Step One: Choose Your Main Menu Item
You can choose from a Burrito Bowl, Taco, Burrito, or Salad.
The most popular choice is the hearty Burrito Bowl. It's packed with rice and abundant toppings, making it a satisfying meal all on its own.
For the Salad, instead of rice, you get a more generous portion of vegetables, and it comes with vinaigrette dressing.
The Burrito comes with one tortilla, while the Taco comes as three separate tortillas.

Step Two: Select Your Rice / Beans & Vegetables
For rice, you can choose from three options: White Rice, Brown Rice & Barley, or Cauliflower Rice (add ~$1). Please note that a hint of cilantro is included. (You can select up to two options.)
If you're watching your diet, I recommend the Brown Rice & Barley or the low-calorie Cauliflower Rice!
For beans, you can pick Kidney Beans and Black Beans (up to two options). As for vegetables, you can choose to include or omit the Fajita Vegetables.

Step Three: Select Your Main Topping
Next up is choosing your main topping!
You can choose from Grilled Chicken, Cuchara Tofu, Grilled Shrimp, Al Pastor, Carnitas, Spicy Chipotle Jeyuk, or Steak.
Occasionally, seasonal menu items are added too!
Here, both Al Pastor and Carnitas are pork options.
Al Pastor is flame-grilled, while Carnitas is shredded and seasoned, much like pulled pork.

You can check the calories for Cuchara's menu items on the official Cuchara website.
The calorie count varies quite a bit depending on your main topping.
Comparing based on the most frequently chosen Burrito Bowl, the highest calorie topping was Carnitas (740 calories), and the lowest was Cuchara Tofu (540 calories)!

Step Four: Choose Your Chili & Salsa
Next, it's time to choose your chili and salsa sauces – the vibrant heart of Mexican cuisine!
For chili, you can choose from Green Chili, Red Chili, or Hot Spicy Chili. For salsa, you can pick Tomato, Corn, or Guacamole (add ~$3).
You can choose up to two options for both chili and salsa!

Final Step: Selecting Your Complimentary Toppings
The final step is all about picking the complimentary toppings that will perfectly round out your meal.
You get to choose up to three complimentary toppings from sour cream, romaine mix, and cheese, but seriously, I highly recommend adding all three for the ultimate flavor! :)

After you've locked in your main dish, it's time to explore the delicious side options!
We decided to dive into a sharing feast with Carnitas Nachos, Original Cheese Sticks, and Hot Chili Cheese Sticks! :)

While it might seem a little intricate, you have the flexibility to order your meal directly at the counter or conveniently through a self-service kiosk.
If navigating all the topping choices feels a bit overwhelming, my tip is to simply choose from the fantastic Best Combo Menus available at the kiosk!

Good to know: here's a quick look at the origin of Kuchara's ingredients.

When it comes to beverages, you can certainly order alcoholic options like Mojitos and beer to elevate your meal,
or choose from refreshing non-alcoholic options such as sodas, juices, and sparkling water.
The best part? If you order a soft drink (~$2), you'll receive a cup and can enjoy unlimited refills of your favorite beverage! Talk about a sweet deal! :)

Plus, for all you new explorers, signing up for the Kuchara app unlocks a treasure trove of diverse coupon packs!
If you're new to Kuchara, grabbing those free coupons is definitely a smart move, don't you think? :)

Once your order is complete and you're ready to feast,
you can conveniently grab tissues, wet wipes, and your essential spoons and forks right at the counter.
Kuchara Burrito Bowl, Tacos,
Salad, Nacho Chips, and Cheese Stick Review

The three of us, all keen explorers of flavor, decided to order a diverse spread and share everything,
so our order consisted of three delightful main dishes and three tempting sides!

First things first, let's take a closer look and compare the visual appeal of our three main dishes!
From left to right, we have the Burrito Bowl, Salad, and Tacos! Hehe.
Compared to the Burrito Bowl, the Salad clearly boasts a more generous portion of fresh vegetables, and the Tacos come thoughtfully divided into three tortillas, making them absolutely perfect for sharing!

Let me tell you, the Carnitas Nachos we ordered as a side? They were an unexpectedly fantastic combination!
Crispy nacho chips piled high with savory Carnitas, fresh tomato salsa, creamy sour cream, and a generous sprinkle of cheese – it’s a flavor explosion!
It’s absolutely delicious on its own, but when paired with our main dishes, that satisfying crispy nacho texture just made us keep reaching for more! Hehe.
Just a heads-up: if you let them sit for too long, the nachos can get a little soggy, so enjoy them fresh! (Definitely not recommended for takeout)

We also decided to try the two cheese sticks, which are totally on-trend and inspired by the popular Chili's cheese stick style.
They're absolutely loaded with an abundant amount of cheese, so if you're a cheese lover, you're in for a treat!
For my palate, the chili version felt a tiny bit too spicy, making the original flavor slightly more enjoyable.
But, to be honest, there wasn't anything super special about them; they felt more like an "expanded edition" of Lotte리아 (a popular Korean fast-food chain) cheese sticks. So, I don't really see myself repurchasing them... haha. Mostly, I was just happy to have tried a trending item.

Nonetheless, indulging in such a diverse array of sides and main dishes made for a truly satisfying and colorful meal experience!
What's great about Kuchara is that all menu items are available for both takeout and delivery, making it super convenient for a quick and easy meal on the go or at home.
It strikes a wonderful balance of being reasonably healthy, and you can customize your meal to be light or hearty with sides, perfectly suiting your preferences. That's why I wholeheartedly recommend it as a fantastic lunch option! :)
