Courtyard Marriott Seoul Times Square Review 2026: Connected to Times Square
Seeking a convenient and comfortable Seoul stay? My 2026 review of Courtyard Marriott Seoul Times Square highlights its prime location, direct subway access, and cozy Deluxe Twin rooms.

Hello, Global Explorers!
I'm Ogurung, your travel blogger.
When booking a hotel in Seoul, while room condition is always important,
lately I've found myself paying quite a bit of attention to
'how accessible it is from the subway station.'
This is especially true on rainy days!
The Courtyard Marriott Seoul Times Square truly shines here,
as it's directly connected to Yeongdeungpo Station and Times Square,
allowing for comfortable indoor access.
I'll honestly share everything I experienced during my stay in a 12th-floor Deluxe Twin room,
from the room condition and views to the facilities!
01. Courtyard Marriott Seoul Times Square Basic Information

Category | Details |
Location | 15 Yeongjung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul * Connected to Yeongdeungpo Station, Times Square |
Check-in/ Check-out | 3:00 PM / 12:00 PM |
Parking | Free for guests (Valet service available for a fee) |
Breakfast | MoMo Cafe on the 5th floor (~$33 per adult) |

As its name suggests, the Courtyard Marriott Seoul Times Square
is a hotel directly connected to Times Square Yeongdeungpo.
It's also connected to the underground shopping arcade of Yeongdeungpo Station,
making the ability to move between the shopping mall and the hotel
its biggest advantage.

The day I visited, it was pouring rain!
But I didn't even need to open my umbrella because I could wheel my luggage from the subway directly indoors
and straight to the hotel via Times Square!
When it comes to station accessibility, this Seoul hotel truly offers the best value for money.

02. Check-in/Check-out & Booking Tips

Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 12 PM,
and personally, I absolutely loved having a 12 PM check-out.
Typically, when staying at 4-star hotels,
check-out is at 11 AM, but here, that extra hour gave me more time
to enjoy breakfast and get ready at a leisurely pace.

The reception is located on the 5th floor.
Although I had already mentioned it in my pre-arrival requests,
I specifically asked for a high-floor assignment if possible among the Deluxe rooms I booked.
The staff member thoughtfully assigned me to a 12th-floor room,
which is the highest floor for Deluxe rooms!
If you also prefer a higher floor like me,
be sure to mention it in your pre-arrival requests when booking, or
simply let them know your preferred floor/view during check-in.

For reference, I visited during the Chuseok holiday and booked a
2-person breakfast package for around ~$148.
A 4-star hotel in Seoul at this price? The value for money is truly excellent!
Currently, all the platforms I checked show the same booking price,
so you can go ahead and book through whichever platform you find most convenient.

03. My Stay in a 12th Floor Deluxe Twin Room

The room I stayed in was a Deluxe Twin Room, and I was assigned to Room 1210.

The room itself had a calm and cozy vibe, with two single beds that felt surprisingly spacious!

Two adults could easily stretch out comfortably, and the plush bedding was just what I needed to unwind after a full day of exploring.

The bedding wasn't stiff at all; it felt like a gentle, cozy embrace, and I truly had a fantastic night's sleep tucked under that thick duvet.

Plus, there's a dedicated work desk in one corner, perfect for pulling out your laptop if you need to catch up on some tasks. For anyone looking to mix a bit of work with their hotel stay, this room layout is quite convenient.

And here's a little something unique: while most hotels offer bottled water, each room here comes with its own water purifier!

Instead of plastic bottles, you'll find a refillable water pitcher and cups, so you can enjoy fresh water right in your room.
Beyond that, all the essentials like wine glasses, a coffee maker, and a refrigerator are thoughtfully provided.

The bathroom features a shower booth, but a friendly heads-up: if you raise the bathroom blind, the interior is completely visible from the bedroom area.

While it might be perfectly fine for couples, if you're sharing with friends or family, I'd definitely recommend keeping those blinds down for everyone's privacy! 😉

One small detail to note is that since the room has a bit of history, the shower drainage was a tad slow, and the shower handle was a little stiff! Nothing major, but worth mentioning!
It didn't cause any major inconvenience, but if you're expecting that sparkling, brand-new hotel feel, just keep this in mind.

The basic amenities are Courtyard's own brand products,
including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash, and body lotion.
Plenty of towels are also provided.

Looking down from our 12th-floor room, the Yeongdeungpo city view was
wide open with no obstructed feeling.
While it's not a view of a dazzling nightscape,
if you love urban scenery, you'll be more than satisfied!

Since the hotel is close to Yeongdeungpo Station,
I was worried about potential noise.
However, after actually staying there, there was no noise at all.
There was no train noise or noise between rooms,
making it the perfect value-for-money hotel in Yeongdeungpo
for those who prioritize a good night's sleep!
04. Hotel Facilities & Insider Tips

On the 4th floor of the hotel, you'll find a fitness center and meeting rooms,
and on the 5th floor, MoMo Cafe offers breakfast, a bar, and a cafe.
Rather than being a hotel with a dazzling array of facilities,
it's a hotel that neatly provides all the necessary amenities.

And here's another insider tip I learned during my stay!
You can get a list of Times Square affiliate stores,
which offers discounts when shopping or dining at certain establishments.
I actually showed my hotel card key
and received a 10% discount on my dinner.
Being able to handle both dining and shopping at Times Square
all at once made it incredibly worthwhile!
