It's genuinely close to Mangwon Station Exit 2.
Just a short stroll off the main road, and you'll spot it right away.
It's the perfect spot to grab a second round of coffee after a meal in Mangwon-dong.

Cafe Ambiance |
Inside, the wood-toned accents create a truly comfortable atmosphere.
The brand logo is simple and understated. My first impression wasn't of an overly trendy 'aesthetic' cafe, but rather a clean, refined, and authentic space.

The cafe has a long, narrow layout inside, with a comfortable long bench seat along one wall and a spacious table by the window. It felt equally inviting for solo visitors or groups.

I visited on a weekday around closing time, and there weren't many customers. I admit, I briefly thought to myself, 'I heard this was a coffee hotspot, maybe it's not so good?' But oh, how wrong I was! Haha.

The combination of gray walls, wooden furniture, and white tables created a calming aesthetic, perfect for settling in and enjoying a leisurely break 🙂
On the shelves, I noticed neatly arranged coffee beans, merchandise, and framed certificates, which further confirmed that this place truly centers around the art of coffee.

As I researched for this post, I realized just how incredible this place truly is!
While I'm no coffee expert, it turns out Connects Coffee boasts an impressive list of awards from both national and international roasting competitions.

They also have an online Smartstore, so be sure to check it out! You'll find plenty of perfect gift options like hand-drip sets and specialty beans.
Menu |

Connects Coffee is well-known as a specialty coffee shop that roasts its own beans. Their signature menu heavily features delightful cream-topped coffees.
They also have a branch in Hapjeong, and it seems a Magok location recently opened their doors.
Their popular offerings include the Connects Coffee (~$4), Connects Cream Mocha (~$4), and various Einspanner-style drinks (~$4-5). For espresso-based beverages, you can opt for decaf or substitute regular milk with soy milk.
The Connects Coffee I ordered featured a remarkably rich and dense cream on top.
Rather than a cream that simply melts away, it had a satisfyingly firm texture you'd want to spoon up. After my first sip, I was so impressed by the texture that I actually tapped it with my spoon, haha. It was clear why this place is famous for its coffee.

The pound cake I ordered with my coffee was perfectly moist, with just the right hint of Earl Grey.

The Earl Grey White Chocolate Pound Cake (~$3) paired wonderfully with the coffee; its subtle Earl Grey aroma wasn't overpowering, making it an ideal accompaniment. The sweetness was just right, not excessive at all.
