Mallangi and Wakppu are still super hot on social media!

Dongmyo Toy Street is popular too,

but you don't have to go all the way to busy Dongmyo.

At Cheonho Toy Street, you can buy Wakppu, Mallangi, Crunch,

and even the new Sullangi!

I've lived my whole life in Gangdong-gu,

and I knew about the Cheonho Stationery and Toy Street,

but this was my first time actually stepping inside the street,

making purchases, and really exploring it.

The conclusion? It was SO, SO much fun.

My husband and I went with the idea of just buying one thing each,

but we ended up spending around ~$15!

Today, I'll share about Cheonho Toy Street's opening hours,

parking, tips for visiting, and my review.

1. Cheonho Toy Street Location & Parking

Cheonho Stationery & Toy Street is, as the name suggests,

a street packed with stationery shops,

featuring many nostalgic stationery stores.

If you exit Cheonho Station Exit 1, you'll reach the entrance of Cheonho Toy Street in less than a 5-minute walk,

and you can also visit by coming out of Cheonho Station Exit 2.

The opening hours for Cheonho Stationery and Toy Street **vary by stationery store**,

and since some places even close at 6 PM on weekdays,

it's best to plan extra time and head out early.

In each stationery store review below,

I'll list the Naver opening hours, so let's check them out.

The interior of Cheonho Toy Street

is wide enough for walking, but there are a lot of cars passing through.

Although there's a public parking lot available inside,

parking spots are limited, so **I recommend visiting on foot.**

2. Comparing Cheonho Stationery & Toy Street Stores

The **Character General Stationery** store at the entrance

is open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Even office workers can stop by

to shop for stationery like Mallangi, Wakppu, Sullangi, Crunch, and more.

It was laid out openly, making it really fun

to window shop as I passed by.

I visited this past weekend,

and this was **the place with the highest discount rate.**

Hyundae General Stationery

Daily 08:30-18:30

It was closed every Sunday.

At all the stationery stores on Cheonho Stationery & Toy Street,

items like Slang-i, Mallang-i, Crunch,

Waxpu keycaps, and more were pretty much similar,

and so were the prices.

**Jang-an Stationery & Fancy**

closes at 5:30 PM on weekdays, opening at 9 AM.

I bought a total of five items, including Mallang-i, Crunch, Waxpu,

and Slang-i, from Cheonho Toy Street, and three of them were from Jang-an Stationery & Fancy alone.

The interior was cool and there were so many items.

Should I call them samples?

It was great that there was a wide variety of things you could touch and try out.

Because of the great variety of samples, I ended up buying a lot here.

They say the origin of Mallang-i is Crunch soap,

**and it was ~$0 cheaper compared to other stationery stores.**

There were so many different types,

and it was clear that many customers were visiting.

There must be a reason why so many customers flock here, right?

**Dongseoul Science & Toy**, where they also sold a lot of board games.

I couldn't find their Naver Place information.

**Myungjin Stationery & Fancy**

It's located deep inside, and the owner was so kind and even gave me some great tips!

However, I'm not sure if it felt cheaper than other places,

but I still ended up buying two items based on their awesome tips.

**Myungshin Toy** is open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM.

**It seemed to have the most visitors, closing a bit later than other places.**

They also had many trending items.

Perhaps because there were so many customers and it was so busy,

I felt the most overwhelmed.

So, I just looked around and left.

Closing at 6:00 PM.

There was no information about which day they close

or what time they open.

**I recommend calling ahead to confirm before visiting.**

It's located at the very end,

and the interior was clean, with many visitors as well.

3. Top Tips for Your Visit

There are some stationery stores that offer exceptional discounts.

Don't rush to buy as soon as you step inside!

I recommend wandering around to several places and making your purchase where they sell at a lower price.

It seems like samples are becoming less common these days.

As you wander around various stationery stores,

you'll find places that still offer samples,

so I recommend touching and feeling before you buy.

Often, how they look and how they feel can be quite different.

People often say that the deeper you go into places like night markets or Dongdaemun, the cheaper things get,

but it doesn't seem to apply to Cheonho Toy Street.

It wasn't necessarily more expensive just because it was near the entrance,

nor was it significantly cheaper just because it was deepest inside.

It was definitely fun and great at the stationery store,

but when I got home, some squishies weren't as fun anymore 😢

Still, shopping for squishies was incredibly fun! Highly recommend it! ~~~
