Camel Coffee Shinsegae Main Branch Review 2026: A Cafe with Unexpected Views
After a shopping spree at Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch, I stumbled upon Camel Coffee on the 13th floor. Expect stunning city views, delicious drinks, and a surprisingly calm atmosphere!

While on a shopping trip at the Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch, I decided to take a quick break and ended up visiting Camel Coffee Shinsegae Main Branch.
Camel Coffee at Shinsegae Main Branch is located on the 13th floor of The Estate Building.
If you take the elevator, head straight to the far left. If you come up the escalator, it's immediately visible.

Honestly, I had visited the Seongsu Main Branch of Camel Coffee back when it was first gaining popularity years ago. While I had a good memory of it then, with so many branches popping up lately and the brand feeling a bit more like a chain, I didn't have high expectations for this visit. 😅
However, I was pleasantly surprised! The view was fantastic, and both the coffee and desserts were quite good.

Typically, cafes inside department stores can be crowded and chaotic, so I didn't expect much in terms of ambiance. My thought was simply, "At least the coffee won't be bad."
But once we sat down, I realized that the expansive windows offered an open view, preventing any feeling of being cooped up. The overall atmosphere was also quite calm and serene, making it a surprisingly great spot for conversation!

The tables weren't too densely packed, and the interior design felt very stylish and modern!

Originally, I just planned to grab a coffee, but the desserts looked so tempting. My friend and I deliberated for a bit before deciding to order one.

Menu & Prices
For the two of us, we ordered these three items:
Camel Pound ~$4
Americano ~$4
Matcha Latte ~$5

We could choose between two types of coffee beans, and it's also possible to purchase beans separately.

With these expansive glass windows and the 13th-floor vantage point, the view was excellent, making the atmosphere much more satisfying than I expected!

The Seongsu Main Branch had a cozy, charming feel, but it seems that newer Camel Coffee locations are incorporating a more sophisticated and luxurious ambiance!
Camel Coffee Shinsegae Main Branch Review

Actually, the signature menu item here is the sweet Camel Coffee with cream on top, but since we'd tried it before, we just ordered what we felt like.

My friend's Americano was made with Camel Cottage beans, offering a clean taste with a good balance of mild, subtle acidity, full body, and nutty notes!

My Matcha Latte also used O'sulloc tea farm matcha, resulting in a rich matcha flavor that wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated.

And this Camel Pound, which we impulsively ordered because it looked so delicious, was also moist, soft, and incredibly tasty!
The Camel Pound features a blend of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla flavors, offering a subtly different taste with each bite, which was a delightful charm.

Since there were only two of us, we couldn't snag this particular spot, but it would be absolutely perfect for a group to settle into these window seats!

We only intended to pop in for a quick coffee, but the atmosphere was so unexpectedly pleasant that we ended up staying until dark at Camel Coffee Shinsegae Main Branch!
Even the night view was incredibly atmospheric. Being able to enjoy delicious drinks while gazing at the high-rise panorama, I highly recommend this spot for anyone shopping at Shinsegae Main Branch looking for a relaxing break! :)
