Visiting Cafe Lucia by Baksugijeong Cliff in Andeok, Jeju!
Baksugijeong is
located in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo,
and although it's a bit far from Jeju City,
it is absolutely stunning,
and the view of Baksugijeong
from the cafe is so incredibly beautiful
that I've been wanting to visit for 3 years.
Seeing it in person made it feel even more majestic
and gorgeous—such a happy place to be!
When we searched for Baksugijeong on the GPS,
it led us straight to a dead-end cliff!
Instead of searching for Baksugijeong, try putting "Cafe Lucia Main Branch" into your navigation.
It was a bit misty, which was a little disappointing,
but there was no one else around and the view was absolutely amazing!
Baksugijeong is
a columnar jointing cliff that looks like
a multi-folded folding screen standing upright.
"Baksu" means spring water,
and "Gijeong" means cliff.
In the Jeju dialect,
it refers to a precipice,
so the name means "a cliff where clean, drinkable
spring water gushes out, which you can scoop up and drink."

is definitely the best way to enjoy the view!
Seeing Baksugijeong framed by canola flowers
made me feel so incredibly happy and inspired.
Interior
The interior has a warm, wood-toned design.
As soon as we got out of the car, beautiful canola flowers
and the breathtaking view of Baksugijeong
welcomed us!
They feature different flowers every season—canola flowers when I visited,
sometimes daisies,
and there are even tangerine trees.
It’s a place where you can experience
the unique charms of Jeju in all four seasons!
It was packed with guests!
There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats,
and they even sell souvenirs!
We saw quite a few international tourists too.
They have a separate water station set up too.

There is a great variety, including walnut chocolate Levain cookies,
but the prices for the pastries and drinks are on the pricier side.
Inside, you can sip your coffee while gazing
at Baksugijeong Cliff through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
When the sun starts to set,
it becomes an absolutely magical experience.
Staring out at Baksugijeong Cliff, the sea, and the yellow canola flowers
while enjoying my drink and pastry made everything taste so much better.
It was pure bliss!
We ordered the Tangerine Ade (~$5), the Tangerine Sunset Chiller (~$5),
and the Red Hyang Bread (~$5).

Baksugijeong Cliff
When we visited,
the canola flowers were in full bloom,
and so many people were busy taking photos!
You can watch the waves crashing against the shore,
admire the shimmering water and the majestic cliff,
and explore this "view-tiful" cafe packed with endless photo zones.
It’s the perfect place to capture that shot of a lifetime
and make your day absolutely unforgettable.
If you search for Baksugijeong exactly as it is on your GPS, you might be guided to a dead-end cliff. For the closest and most beautiful view of Baksugijeong, it is best to search for and drive to 'Cafe Lucia Main Branch'.
