Byronic Espresso Bar Jeju Review: Sleek Coastal Coffee
Discover Byronic Espresso Bar in Jeju, a moody black-themed cafe offering specialty espresso and stunning views of the iconic Iho Tewoo Lighthouse.
It's been a while since my last trip to Jeju Island!
They say Jeju has been less crowded lately,
and when I rented a car,
there was barely any traffic on the road,
making it such a relaxing drive.

I've been so curious about this place ever since seeing it on Instagram:
I finally visited Byronic Espresso Bar Jeju!

At Byronic Espresso Bar Jeju,
from the road right in front,
you can actually spot the famous Iho Tewoo Lighthouse.
Location
It's super accessible, just a 15-minute drive from Jeju Airport,
and only about 10 minutes away from Iho Tewoo Beach.
Jeju Branch, Yongdam
They also have 9 locations in Seoul,
including the famous Seongsu branch!

The Naedo-dong area where
Byronic Espresso Bar is located has a wonderfully quiet, peaceful vibe,
and the road right outside is a famous coastal drive,
perfect for cruising along with a view of the sea!
Parking
You can conveniently park in the spaces right in front of or behind the cafe.

Stepping inside, you're greeted by a sleek, modern,
and incredibly stylish all-black aesthetic.

The space is absolutely stunning!

It has three floors,
plus a rooftop bar on the 4th floor.
On super windy days, though, they might keep the rooftop closed.
You can also step outside on the 2nd and 3rd floors to get a closer look at the ocean,
but wow, the wind out there was absolutely wild!

On the 1st floor, they have tons of cool merch like coffee beans, hats, mugs, and diffusers,

and you place your order at the self-service kiosks.

I thought it was so fun how they named their combo sets "Modakchigi."
"Modakchigi" means "all together as a group"
in the local Jeju dialect.
You usually hear this term when sharing street food like tteokbokki, gimbap, and sundae on one giant platter,
so seeing it used for coffee and desserts felt totally fresh and unique!

While the prices aren't exactly cheap,
the menu items look incredibly unique and delicious!

They have a dedicated lineup of signature drinks,
including the "Kkeomeong Latte" (black latte).

I really wanted to try their signature black cone ice cream,
but since it was a bit chilly, I decided to go with something else instead.

There are three floors of seating in total!

You can sit and enjoy your drinks or treats on the first floor too!
The view is absolutely stunning.

Let’s take the elevator upstairs.

They also have diffusers
that you can spray onto basalt stones.
You can test out the scents here!

The space is incredibly open with plenty of spacious seating.
The weather is gorgeous, and the view is just perfect.

Sipping coffee with this wide-open view
makes me so incredibly happy.
This is exactly why I keep coming back to Jeju!

The music playlist was absolutely perfect too.

Since we had the place to ourselves, my husband and I
got to relax and fully enjoy the cozy cafe vibes.

You take off your shoes for this cozy, floor-seating area.

Our Order
Basque Cheesecake (~$5)
Flat White (~$4)
And we ordered a Macadamia Latte (~$6).

Both the coffee and desserts are even better than expected!!

I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite!

True to its espresso bar reputation, the coffee is wonderfully rich and bold!
