If you want to experience the stunning views of Haeundae, Busan
in a truly special way,
you have to visit the X the SKY Observatory.
Perched 411 meters (1,348 feet) above the ground,
it offers a breathtaking, unobstructed view of both Haeundae Beach and the sparkling city skyline.
Looking down from such a height gave me
a whole new perspective on Haeundae—
it felt completely different from walking along the beach, making the experience incredibly special.
Here is my honest review of visiting the X the SKY Observatory!
1. Busan X the SKY Observatory

It's located right in front of the beach,
making it super easy to get to.
The perfect spot to stroll along the beach first,
and then head up just in time for the sunset or the glittering night views!

2. The 100th Floor

You'll take a high-speed elevator zooming from the 1st floor all the way up to the 100th floor at 411.6 meters.
The elevator features a fun digital show making it look like
you're riding a hot air balloon up from Haeundae Beach.
It made the quick ride super entertaining,
and any kids on board will absolutely love it!

When you step out onto the 100th floor, the sky peaking through the clouds
and the panoramic Haeundae coastline unfold right before your eyes.
I timed my visit specifically for sunset,
and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable moments of my entire Busan trip.

There's a photo zone marked with the altitude,
which is perfect for taking a proof-of-visit shot.
Having the vast Haeundae ocean as your backdrop makes the photos turn out so beautiful!
Just a quick tip: at night, the indoor lights reflect off the glass,
making it a bit tricky to get a clean photo.
If you want to capture the perfect picture at the photo zones,
I highly recommend visiting during the day or just as the sunset begins!

The photo zone features a transparent glass floor
where you can look directly down at Haeundae Beach
right beneath your feet.
Since the Busan LCT Observatory is
the second tallest in South Korea,
the sheer height and thrill were on a whole different level!

On one side, there was a display of K-pop merch,
and seeing international travelers taking photos and having fun
really made me realize just how popular Korean culture has become! haha
3. 99th Floor

On the 99th floor, you'll find a cafe and a restaurant.
While the cafe looks out over Haeundae Beach,
the restaurant offers views of the city skyline,
allowing you to enjoy a completely different vibe in each spot.

Make sure not to miss the outdoor space
located right in front of the restaurant!
It's beautifully themed around Haeundae Beach,
and because it's an open-air area with an open ceiling,
you can feel the fresh breeze blowing in from 99 floors up,
offering a totally different feeling compared to the indoor spaces.
4. 98th Floor

If you want to dive into the views at Busan LCT X the SKY,
the best place to do it is the 98th floor!
This space gets you right up close to the windows,
and thanks to the 360-degree panoramic views,
you can admire everything from the vast ocean to the sprawling city,
capturing all the different charms of Busan.

Beyond the gorgeous Haeundae Beach view,
you can also spot iconic landmarks like Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Marine City,
Cheongsapo, and the Oryukdo Islets.

The viral Starbucks X the SKY branch that has been taking over social media!
Since it's famous for being the highest Starbucks
in the entire world,
I've always wanted to visit—and I finally made it!

The competition for a window seat was fierce, so I had to admire it from a bit of a distance,
but it easily has one of the most stunning views
of any Starbucks I've ever been to in my life.

On one side of the store, Starbucks merchandise
representing different regions of South Korea was on display.
Not just Busan, but also Seoul, Jeju Island, and more—
seeing limited-edition goods from all over the country
in one place made for some really fun window shopping.

Even if you don't grab a drink at Starbucks,
there are plenty of rest areas scattered across the 98th floor,
so you can relax and soak in the views at your own pace.

Photo zones, gachapon capsule toys, mystery boxes, and souvenir coins
There are so many extra fun things to do,
so kids won’t get bored even if you hang out for a while.
It’s honestly the perfect spot for a family trip!

I made sure to catch a glimpse of the night view before heading down 👀
The sunset was gorgeous, but my heart definitely belongs to the sparkling night lights!
5. Souvenir Shop

Don't miss out on checking out the souvenir shop on your way out!
They don't just have Busan LCT-themed merch;
there were also tons of items showcasing the beautiful aesthetics of Korea.

Since this is a popular spot for international travelers,
the souvenirs seemed beautifully tailored for visitors.
Everything was so cute and stylish
that I seriously wanted to sweep the whole shelf into my bag ㅠㅠ

As the second tallest building in Korea,
Haeundae LCT X the SKY Observatory
offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view
where you can take in iconic Busan spots like Gwangan Bridge, Marine City, and Oryukdo Island.
More than just a viewpoint,
it's packed with fun photo zones and cozy spots to relax,
making it the ultimate place to create special memories in Busan.
If you're looking for must-visit spots in Busan, I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary! ~
