Booyoung Hotel Jeju Review 2026: Best Resort Pools

I visit Jeju Island at least twice a year,

but this is the first place I'd go back to

solely for its incredible swimming pool: the Booyoung Hotel Jeju.

The moment I checked in, I fell head over heels for those vibrant, exotic orange walls

and the brilliant blue pool—it felt like stepping straight into a tropical resort! I ended up spending a full 3 days and 2 nights purely on staycation mode lol.

Today, I’m excited to share my review of this amazing spot

and why it’s my absolute top recommendation for a 5-star staycation in Jeju!

The Outdoor Pools at Booyoung Hotel Jeju

Booyoung Hotel Jeju features two spacious outdoor pools,

and they are just a quick 1-to-2-minute stroll from each other along a scenic walking path.

Outdoor Pool A / Outdoor Pool B

- This is the main pool located right in front of the hotel building.

- The vibrant orange walls and the iconic clock tower create such an exotic vibe,

making it the ultimate photo spot!

🏊‍♂️ Outdoor Pool B (In front of the Resort Wing / Family Zone)

- Located right in front of the resort building.

- It feels more open and spacious than the main pool,

and the shallower depth makes it perfect for kids to splash around safely.

📌 Depth: 1.0m

💡 Pool A is popular with couples and friends, while Pool B is the go-to for families with kids.

Having the pools separated by vibe and purpose means

everyone can relax and have fun in their own way!

My Review of Outdoor Pool A

With the striking orange walls, geometric window designs,

and towering palm trees, I genuinely forgot I was in Jeju for a moment.

It felt like being at a luxury resort in Mexico or Southeast Asia.

Hands down, this is my absolute favorite hotel pool in Jeju.

Outdoor Pool A is very spacious,

and with a decent depth of 1.3 meters,

it's perfect for anyone who genuinely wants to swim.

I had a blast playing here with my nephew in his swim ring lol.

Plus, it's a heated pool, so it's perfectly comfortable for little ones to play in!

As I was taking photos under the clock tower shown here,

I was amazed by the exotic aesthetic—I couldn't believe

we have architecture like this in Korea.

TIP

Booyoung Hotel's pool doesn't strictly require swim caps or hats,

making it super convenient to snap some great photos before diving in!

The backdrop was so stunning that I ended up taking

countless photos of my nephew over our 3-day stay lol.

While Pool A doesn't have parasols or sunbeds directly poolside,

there are tables and chairs set up in the shade, so we had plenty of room to leave our belongings and relax.

My Review of Outdoor Pool B

Pool B opens up beautifully to palm trees and scenic walking paths,

making you feel like you are truly living the resort life while floating in the water.

(Honestly, it totally rivaled the tropical resorts I've visited in Guam!)

Think Pool A is the only photogenic spot?

No way!

While Pool A offers a cozy, exotic vibe framed by the high orange walls,

Pool B blends the open blue sky, beautiful architecture,

and towering palm trees for that classic, breezy tropical resort getaway feel.

There's a specific reason why Booyoung Hotel’s pools are so kid-friendly:

there is a dedicated shallow section where little ones can comfortably sit and splash around!

This made it so much easier for toddlers (like my 2-to-3-year-old nephew)

to play happily without getting scared of the deeper water.

And yes, we definitely captured a few masterpiece shots of him here! lol

Pool B has plenty of parasols scattered all over,

making it the perfect spot to lie back and just relax.

With the stunning architecture, clear blue skies, and palm trees behind you,

any photo you take here is bound to be a total masterpiece! 📸

Resort Room & Breakfast Review

From the moment I stepped into the entrance, it didn't feel like Korea—

it felt like I had actually traveled abroad.

To be honest, I was absolutely amazed by all the exotic vibes here.

As it turns out,

this hotel was designed by the legendary Mexican architect, Ricardo Legorreta.

Even just from an architectural standpoint, it is absolutely

worth a visit.

Jeju Booyoung Hotel offers both resort-style and hotel-style rooms,

so you can choose whichever suits your style best.

Since I was traveling with my child and family, we went with a resort-style room,

and it was fantastic because it came with kitchen facilities.

Even though it wasn't an ocean view, looking out the window

at the scenery filled with lush palm trees

made me wonder, "Wow, am I in Jeju or somewhere tropical abroad?" It was that good.

The veranda was also spacious, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a drink at night.

The place I booked had a spacious living room and two bedrooms.

While the interior design didn't feel brand new,

it was extremely well-maintained and cozy.

Both the rooms and the bathrooms were incredibly fresh and clean,

making it perfect for a relaxing staycation! ✨

There's a convenience store inside the Booyoung Hotel Resort,

so we were able to buy almost everything we needed right there.

(Which means an endless supply of drinks, haha! 🍺)

After all, the true essence of a staycation is staying put

and ordering delivery! 🍕

The dining table made it super convenient to enjoy our meals right in the room.

As expected of a 5-star hotel, the breakfast quality was impressive—

overall, the food wasn't overly seasoned and had a very clean, refined taste.

Since I was traveling with my niece, we had breakfast here throughout our 3-day stay,

and the views were absolutely stunning!

If you want to experience those exotic, overseas resort vibes
