Seeking an unforgettable ocean-view cafe in Jeju? Bomnal Cafe in Aewol offers stunning vistas, charming vintage decor, and surprisingly affordable drinks. A must-visit gem!

I recently visited Bomnal Cafe in Aewol, a charming spot I stumbled upon while searching for the perfect ocean-view cafe along Aewol Cafe Street.
While I haven't explored every cafe on Aewol Cafe Street, Bomnal Cafe, being one of the oldest in the area, truly stands out. It boasts an incredible **ocean view** and surprisingly **affordable drinks**, making it a highly recommended stop! : )

Bomnal Cafe is situated at the **lower end of Aewol Cafe Street** in Jeju, right near Handam Beach. Being the oldest cafe in the area, I initially wondered if it might feel a bit dated, but it quickly proved to be a prime spot for **ocean views and breathtaking sunsets**.

Upon arrival, I found it wasn't old-fashioned at all, but rather had a delightful **vintage charm**! From the outside, it looked like a single building, but stepping inside revealed two quaint structures arranged side-by-side, creating a cozy, secluded atmosphere that felt wonderfully disconnected from the outside world.

Another major plus is that it has its own **parking lot**, even if it's not huge! Finding parking near Aewol Cafe Street can be a real challenge, even with private lots, so having dedicated parking here was incredibly convenient and much appreciated.

My dad, husband, and sister all praised my choice of Bomnal Cafe, and the reason was clear: the **stunning ocean views from both inside and outside** the cafe!

Since the cafe building sits right at the edge of the beach, being seated indoors felt like I was **floating directly on the ocean**—a truly immersive experience.

Although the summer heat makes sitting outside for too long a challenge, the **view from Bomnal Cafe's outdoor terrace** is absolutely spectacular. So many people were taking photos out there, and for good reason! : )

You can take a leisurely stroll along the coastal path behind Bomnal Cafe, or head in the opposite direction towards Handam Beach—either way, the scenery is breathtaking.

We visited around sunset that day, which meant fewer crowds and the added bonus of watching the sun dip below the horizon. It became clear why this cafe has remained a beloved ocean-view spot for so long.
Another reason I loved Bomnal Cafe in Jeju was that their **drink prices are quite reasonable**!

The menu is fairly simple, but it includes specialty coffees and plenty of unique local options like tangerine iced tea and tangerine milk tea, which really make you feel like you've **arrived in Jeju**.
An Americano for ~$4
Hallabong Juice for ~$5
Corona bottled beer for ~$6 (the most expensive item)
Considering it's an ocean-view cafe in Jeju, these prices are quite impressive.

We ordered Hallabong Juice, an iced chocolate, and tangerine iced tea. The **Hallabong Juice** was definitely the highlight—so refreshing! The iced chocolate was decent but fairly standard.
It's great to find a place with such a fantastic view that still pays attention to the quality of its drinks; I was pleasantly surprised.

Aewol Cafe Street is brimming with amazing ocean-view cafes, but if you're debating whether to visit Bomnal Cafe, I say go for it! With its private parking and affordable drinks, it's an easy choice you won't regret. : )
