making it a popular spot for office workers to unwind after hours.
🍂 An Outdoor Dining Gem Perfect for a Crisp Evening

With the summer heat gone and cool weather setting in (it's October 2026!),
outdoor seating is absolutely essential!
The restaurant offers not just a spacious indoor area,
but also plenty of outdoor tables where you can truly soak in that lively outdoor pub atmosphere.

The indoor ambiance at Yeokjeon Halmaek perfectly matches its name, "Yeokjeon" (meaning "station"),
with a cool train-themed interior design!🚉
🎵 A Tip for the 30-45 Crowd🎵
The playlist at Yeokjeon Halmaek Balsan Station was full of classic, recognizable (dare I say "old school"?) tunes.
Even I, who barely know modern K-Pop, had an absolute blast, so you're guaranteed a lively and fun time!
My Honest Review of Yeokjeon Halmaek's Menu

🍺 Ice-Cold Beer ~$3
🍸 Yeokjeon Halmaek Highball ~$3
Yeokjeon Halmaek is synonymous with its signature ice-cold beer!
I ordered a refreshing beer and a highball.
The highball was a clean, Jim Beam-style drink, perfect for easy sipping.

🧀🍲 Cheesy Rabokki ~$7
For my first snack, I ordered the Rabokki, served bubbling hot in a traditional Korean earthenware pot.
With its perfectly spicy and sweet broth and deliciously chewy ramen noodles,
it felt like a full meal in itself!

With its irresistibly sweet and savory Tteokbokki sauce,
and a generous mix of fish cakes, rice cakes, ramen noodles, and quail eggs,
this dish is an addictive signature item at Yeokjeon Halmaek that keeps you coming back for more!

🌽 Consomme Corn Fritters ~$6
I debated whether to order an assorted fried platter to go with the Rabokki,
or the unique popping corn fritters. I ultimately went with the corn!
Dusted with savory consomme powder, these fritters were crispy on the outside and wonderfully chewy on the inside – a perfect pairing with beer.

🍘 Tuna Rice Balls ~$1
I ordered these Tuna Rice Balls specifically to enjoy with the Rabokki.
They had a surprisingly crispy grilled exterior – a delightful twist on classic rice balls!

🦑 Half-Dried Squid ~$7
Yes... I ordered more food!
I clearly went in thinking it would be "just for a quick drink,"
but everything was so good, I just kept craving more!
This half-dried squid was wonderfully chewy and moist.
Served with peanuts and crispy seaweed, it was the perfect dry snack to accompany my beer.
