Your Home Away from Home in Seoul
ASTY Cabin Jamsil: The Ultimate Serviced Residence
Written by Pipi
If you are planning to stay in Seoul for a week or longer,
swapping a cramped hotel room for a spacious serviced residence is a total game-changer.
Whether you are visiting for business, conferences, or extended travel,
the struggle with daily laundry, eating out for every meal,
and living out of a suitcase can quickly wear you down.
During my recent trip to Seoul,
I stayed at ASTY Cabin,
a gorgeous space that perfectly blends the sleek convenience of a hotel
with the practical comforts of a fully furnished home.
It is the perfect base for COEX business trips, long-term stays in Jamsil,
or anyone looking to experience "living like a local" in Seoul.

ASTY Cabin is specifically designed
for travelers seeking mid-to-long-term stays,
offering flexible bookings ranging from 1 week up to 4+ months.
Unlike restrictive hotel layouts, the apartments here are incredibly spacious,
featuring a designated living area, bedroom, full kitchen, and in-unit laundry.
It truly feels like you have your own private apartment
right in the heart of the city.
It is an exceptional choice for business professionals, digital nomads,
family vacations, or medical tourists seeking comfort and convenience.

The location is incredibly convenient.
You are just a short trip away from Jamsil, Lotte World, and the Han River Park.
Major business hubs like COEX and Gangnam
are easily accessible via public transit, making morning commutes stress-free.
It is also close to major medical centers like Asan Medical Center,
providing a peaceful retreat for medical travelers and their families.
As a brand recognized by the prestigious iF Design Award,
the entire building boasts a sophisticated, modern, and design-forward aesthetic.

Even better, Garak Mall (Garak Market) is nearby.
It is one of Seoul's largest local food markets, where you can grab
fresh seafood, seasonal fruits, and local ingredients to cook back at the cabin.

From the moment you walk up to the entrance, everything is pristine and well-maintained.
The lobby has a calm, minimalist aesthetic
that instantly makes you feel relaxed after a long day of exploring.

The check-in instructions were crystal clear and detailed.
They even provided a 24/7 emergency contact number,
which gave me great peace of mind during my stay.

Stepping into the room,
I was immediately struck by how much larger it felt than the photos suggested.
The layout is incredibly functional and airy.
The warm, indirect lighting and neutral tones
create a cozy, inviting sanctuary.
It is the perfect space to unwind and recharge.

My room featured both a King bed and a Single bed,
making it an excellent setup for small families or business colleagues traveling together.
The bedding was exceptionally clean, crisp,
and offered the perfect amount of support for a great night's sleep.

The bed's headboard is equipped with power outlets
and USB ports on both sides.
It made charging phones and laptops overnight
incredibly convenient.
What sets ASTY Cabin apart from generic hotels
is that it is fully equipped for actual day-to-day living.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect
for whipping up breakfast or preparing a full dinner.

It comes complete with a refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle, microwave,
pots, pans, plates, cutlery, mugs, and even wine glasses.

I picked up some fresh sashimi from Garak Market
and paired it with a nice bottle of wine in the room.
Having the option to eat in occasionally saved me a ton of money
and made the trip feel much more relaxed.

I loved the clever sliding door that completely hides the kitchen sink area,
keeping the living space looking clean and tidy when you're not cooking.

For longer stays, laundry is always a hassle.
Having an in-unit washer and dryer was a massive lifesaver.
If you're on a business trip or a month-long stay,
this feature alone makes the residence worth it!

There is even an LG Styler steam closet in the room!
It is perfect for business travelers who need to keep
suits, dress shirts, or heavy coats fresh and wrinkle-free.
It ensures you look sharp every day
without constantly running to the dry cleaners.

The generous closet space made it easy
to unpack my suitcases and keep the room organized.
It's these little details that make a place
feel like a home rather than just a hotel room.

The bathroom and shower stall
were impeccably clean and modern.
The shower water pressure was fantastic, too!

Fresh towels are provided,
but note that personal toiletries like shampoo, body wash, and toothbrushes are not included.
Be sure to pack your own or purchase them at the convenience store right downstairs.

There is also a vacuum cleaner stored in the entryway closet,
allowing you to keep your living space tidy during longer stays.
It's incredibly satisfying to maintain a clean environment
on your own schedule.

If you are planning an extended stay in Seoul,
choosing a functional serviced residence over a standard hotel
will make your trip so much more comfortable.
ASTY Cabin Jamsil offers incredible space, premium amenities,
a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and an LG Styler,
giving you all the comforts of home.
With its fantastic transit links to Jamsil, Gangnam, and COEX,
it is an outstanding choice for business travelers, digital nomads,
and anyone planning a long-term stay in Seoul.
Highly recommended!
