Especially if you're a family traveling with kids and parents,
your satisfaction will be quite high!

1. Asan Spavis Location & Parking
📍 67 Asan温泉ro 157beon-gil, Eumbong-myeon, Asan-si, Chungnam
Asan Spavis is conveniently located for a day trip,
being about 1-2 hours by car from the Seoul/Gyeonggi metropolitan area,
and about 1-1.5 hours from Daejeon and Sejong.
What was best of all was the free parking!
Upon entering, you'll find quite a spacious parking lot
on both sides.
There were no separate barriers or parking fees,
which made it really convenient not to have to worry about the time
after enjoying the water activities.

making it fantastic to visit even in late summer haha.

3. Asan Spavis Water Park Review
The day I visited was a weekday, so unfortunately,
the outdoor wave pool and slides were not operating T_T.
Instead, exploring the outdoor hot spring pools → indoor bade pools
→ Aqua Play → Exciting River
→ and even the main hot spring bath,
I found there were more things to do than I expected.
If you're visiting with children or parents,
a weekday will be more than enough to enjoy everything haha.
Aqua Play wasn't just a small children's pool; it was a full-fledged aquatic playground with gushing water and slides, so the kids absolutely loved it!
Even as an adult, I found myself having a blast playing along. 😉
The Exciting River had just the right current—not too strong, not too weak—perfect for floating around on a tube.
Personally, this was my favorite part, hehe!
And then there's the indoor Bade Pool, fed by hot spring water!
With facilities for hydro-massage like bubble jets and neck showers,
it felt like all my fatigue just melted away after an exciting swim.
The outdoor hot spring pool felt like an open-air onsen you could enjoy in your swimsuit,
so it was quite popular.
It was also a great spot for photos at the cave photo zone!
There were plenty of food options too! Indoors,
you could grab meals like ramyeon or tonkatsu, and outside, they even had Zadam Chicken.
You just can't resist chicken after a good swim, right? Haha!
What made it even better was the Aqua Snack Bar where you could enjoy these treats while relaxing in the hot springs! :)
And the final stop was the Grand Hot Spring Bath!
Although photography wasn't allowed, it was much larger than I expected,
with several different baths, an outdoor open-air bath, and even three saunas, so my mom, who came with me, particularly loved it.
Everything from shampoo, body wash, and toothpaste
to towels, hairdryers, cotton swabs, and skincare was provided, making it super convenient to wash up afterward.
It wasn't just about swimming;
finishing the day with a relaxing soak in the hot springs made it feel like a truly fulfilling day of fun!
Perhaps it was the hot spring water, but my skin felt wonderfully soft and smooth after showering, which was a pleasant surprise.
With a Kids Park available, it's truly set up for a full day of fun if you're visiting with young children.
However, please note that starting September 1st,
the flowing pool and Aqua Play will not operate on weekdays.
If you're planning a weekday visit, make sure to check their operating facilities!
4. Asan Spavis Essentials: Don't Forget These!
Rash guard or swimsuit
Aqua shoes (essential)
Waterproof pouch / waterproof bag
Hat (optional)
Sunscreen
The most important item here is aqua shoes.
Crocs, slippers, sandals, and flip-flops are not allowed.
You'll need to bring water-specific aqua shoes that are closed at the front and back, fully covering your entire foot.
If you forget them, you'll have to buy them again on site,
so make sure to pack this one essential!
On-site, you can rent life vests for ~$4
and beach towels for ~$3.
Sunbeds are ~$14.
Double sunbeds vary by location:
~$35 for the Bade Pool/Outdoor area,
and ~$48 for the Lazy River!

Parking at Asan Spavis is free, and a spacious parking lot is available. It takes approximately 1 to 2 hours by car from the Seoul/Gyeonggi metropolitan area, and about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes from Daejeon/Sejong.
Life vests can be rented on-site for ~$4, and sunbeds cost ~$14. Twin beds can be rented for ~$35 at the Bade Pool/Outdoor area and ~$48 at the lazy river, depending on the location.
