Benson Creamery Seoul: A Top Ice Cream Parlor
Hey there, fellow travelers! I recently took a delightful stroll along Dosan-daero, and wow, was it bustling! The Gangnam Festival was in full swing, drawing quite a crowd.
We hopped off at Apgujeong Rodeo Station, and right as we exited from Exit 5, a charming ice cream shop caught our eye. What better way to kick off our day than with a sweet treat?

I'm used to the usual ice cream chains, but Benson Creamery offered a distinctly more gourmet and delicious experience.
It's the perfect spot to grab a scoop and start your Apgujeong adventure on a light, sweet note, just like we did!

1. Benson Creamery Seoul: Location, Parking, Interior, and Ice Cream Flavor Recommendations

You'll find Benson Creamery Seoul, a highly recommended ice cream parlor in Apgujeong, at 829 Seolleung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Just take Exit 5 from Apgujeong Rodeo Station, and you'll immediately spot the large, whimsical mascot figure!

The shop is spread across multiple levels. The first floor is the 'Scoop Shop,' where all the delicious ice cream is served, while the second floor houses a delightful dessert café!
Down in the basement, you'll find a hands-on class zone where you can create your own custom ice cream flavors!
These classes require a separate reservation (typically booked through Naver in Korea, but checking their official website or social media for global visitor booking details is recommended). It's a fantastic activity, especially if you're traveling with kids, as they get to mix and match their own unique creations!

A word of caution: the spiral staircase to the second floor can be a bit dizzying, but it's often quieter upstairs. If you're seeking a peaceful café, this might be your spot!

Benson Creamery is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The second-floor café closes a bit earlier, at 8:00 PM, and the entire shop is closed on Mondays.
Keep in mind there's no dedicated parking, so you'll need to use one of the nearby paid parking lots.

The interior of the shop is quite spacious and inviting – definitely a plus!

They boast an impressive selection of 20 ice cream flavors, with recommended picks conveniently displayed next to the ordering kiosk.

What immediately impressed me was the impeccable hygiene – all the ice cream tubs were neatly covered. It gives you peace of mind and frankly, makes the delicious treats look even more appealing and premium!

Similar to other popular ice cream parlors, they also offer ice cream cakes and pints to take home! Benson Creamery locations are a bit rare, so if you're in Apgujeong Rodeo, I highly recommend stopping by!

Their Benson merchandise is incredibly cute too!
2. Benson Ice Cream Review: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Triple Chocolate Almond

You can choose between a cone or a cup, and we opted for cones.
The portions were surprisingly generous – they really pack it in!
The ice cream on the left was the Triple Chocolate Almond, and let me tell you, it was delicious!
It wasn't on their official recommendation list, but it was wonderfully chewy, with crunchy almond pieces throughout. It had a lovely sweetness that was perfectly balanced by the rich, nutty almond flavor – truly exceptional!

On the right, we had the recommended Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!
This classic features a creamy vanilla base loaded with chocolate chips and delectable cookie dough chunks. It was equally tasty! The texture of their ice cream is also worth noting – it's delightfully chewy, almost like a premium gelato.

Honestly, this was my first experience with Benson Creamery, and I personally found it even more delicious than Baskin-Robbins. Given their limited number of locations, it's definitely a must-visit ice cream spot if you find yourself near Apgujeong Rodeo Station.
