Glode Apgujeong Review 2026: Chic Wine Bar & Lunch Menu
Experience Glode, Apgujeong's chic wine bar, with its unique charcoal-infused dishes. Our weekend lunch review covers 4 delicious menu recommendations.

Glode, a name synonymous with sophisticated wine dining in Seoul's trendy Apgujeong neighborhood, is a must-visit!
I recently popped in for a weekend lunch and was so impressed by the unique and delicious menu, my friend and I ended up ordering four dishes between the two of us.

While Glode typically serves dinner during the week, they open their doors for lunch on weekends.
Weekend lunch hours are from 12 PM to 3 PM!
📍 Glode
2nd Floor, 8 Eonju-ro 173-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Right from the entrance, you're greeted by an incredibly private and upscale atmosphere.

This place is serious about its wine list, having been consecutively selected for the Wine Spectator Restaurant Award in 2025 and 2026!

The interior boasts a clean, white-toned aesthetic.
Given it was a weekend lunch, I noticed quite a few couples enjoying romantic dates.

Since we made a reservation, we were guided to a cozy table tucked away inside.

Just look at the aesthetics of that menu!
Originally, ordering one bottle of alcohol was mandatory for dinner, but from September 2026, you can now order just one glass per person! That's a fantastic update.

Glode Lunch Menu Recommendations

First up, we ordered the White Bread to kick things off, almost like an appetizer.
Glode prides itself on the deep flavor and subtle charcoal aroma achieved through grilling, so we had to try this. The delicately charred edges truly made it delicious, reminiscent of freshly baked wood-fired pizza dough!

A dish that frequently appeared in Glode menu recommendations, and one we absolutely had to try, was the Scallop Confit.
The presentation was particularly striking, served alongside warm, smooth pebbles!

The combination of charcoal-infused scallop confit, creamy potato puree, rich XO sauce, and fresh chives was simply divine!
However, be aware that the portion size is quite small, so it's best thought of as an appetizer.🤣
Still, it was a dish we really wanted to experience, and we had no regrets!

After debating among the pasta options, we decided to try the intriguing Saffron Pasta.
The seafood-based oil sauce paired beautifully with the saffron, and the fresh pasta was perfectly cooked. The saffron potato strands on top added a delightful crunch, creating a wonderful interplay of textures.

Initially, we had only planned to order up to the pasta, but as we savored the incredibly delicious food and still felt a bit peckish, we thought, "Why not try one more?!" That's how we ended up ordering the Jjondueksal.

I was curious about what "Jjondueksal" meant, and our server explained it's a special cut called triangle cut (samgak-sal).
True to its name, it had a wonderfully chewy texture, and the hazelnut onion and hazelnut crumble added a unique and harmonious flavor profile. It was truly a distinctive dish.
Overall, all four dishes were absolutely delicious. I believe the experience would have been even more satisfying if we had paired them with wine, but my friend had another engagement, so we skipped it – a slight regret!
If you're looking for a relaxed meal in a sophisticated setting in Apgujeong, I highly recommend Glode!
