What You Can Buy at Annyeong Seongsan
For those looking for a souvenir shop in Seogwipo,
here's why I recommend Annyeong Seongsan:
1. They have a huge variety of props and souvenirs,
2. And you can also buy products made by local Jeju artists!

First up, the classic souvenir: magnets!
From designs commonly seen at tourist spots,
to magnets crafted by local Jeju designers, they have it all.
The Dolhareubang magnets are incredibly cute,
and the figurines wearing swim caps are adorable too.
Honestly, I think I spent over 10 minutes just looking at the magnets.

There are also earphone cases and MagSafe card slots.
Designs that are distinctly Jeju yet clean and stylish!
I passed on them because I don't use a MagSafe case,
but if I did, I probably would've bought one.

The drinking glass designs are also quite impressive.
What caught my eye was the Hallasan drinking glass set!
With an emerald color at the bottom of the glass,
I imagined pouring a drink and instantly envisioning the refreshing Jeju sea.
They also look like great gifts.

This is a corner stationery lovers will go crazy for.
There were sticky notes shaped like Jeju's black pigs, reminiscent of a butcher shop,
and many other charming memo pads.
The prices are also reasonable, ranging from ~$2 to ~$4!
This is a uniquely designed car phone number display.
I had so many things I wanted to buy, so I held back on this one,
but if I had more money, I would have bought several to give as gifts.

There are also **types of air fresheners**.
They're made by processing basalt.
There were some shaped to hang in your car,
and products where you lightly spray perfume oil onto the basalt.

On the left are **candles**, and on the right are **decorative display items**!
The ones on the right were the little guys my dad had his eye on,
because the Jeju black pigs made from basalt looked like they'd bring good fortune,
making them perfect gifts for shop owners.

There's also **soap**.
If I hadn't just bought sulfur soap from Yufuin recently,
I would've definitely picked some up, but I resisted this time.
Instead, I bought a **facial headband**, a related product.

Of course, there are also **edible treats**.
You'll find classic snacks like tangerine chocolate and Hallabong chocolate,
along with beverages like camellia tea and Hallabong tea.
But what really caught my eye was the fascinating **Jeju Haenyeo Bapsang.**
It seemed to be finely dried seafood native to Jeju,
and looked like it would make for a quick and healthy meal when added to rice.

There's also a good selection of **alcoholic beverages**.
I'm not much of an expert on alcohol, but there were many unique Jeju spirits,
like Udo Peanut Makgeolli and Hondiju, a traditional tangerine liquor.

Seriously... Annyeong Seongsan just keeps revealing endless adorable items.
I wasn't sure if I liked cute things this much,
but after browsing here, I guess I really do!

And another reason why Annyeong Seongsan was so great is that they offer
**products by local Jeju artists**.
With both popular souvenirs and local artists' unique items all gathered in one spot,
it means you **don't have to visit multiple places** to find gifts for friends and family of all ages.
It really struck me as the perfect gift shop for everyone on your list.

Just a heads-up, if you visit with the **Jeju Tour Pass**, you get a free gift!
We received a carrot ballpoint pen, camellia hand cream, a handkerchief, and a mini bag!
Even without the Jeju Tour Pass,
they still give out **gifts based on your purchase amount**, which always makes me happy.

My dad, myself, my sibling, and my husband all
left Annyeong Seongsan with our arms full of **gifts for colleagues, other relatives, and friends**!
If I travel to the eastern part of Jeju again, I'd definitely want to revisit.
Even for a penny-pincher like me, the prices were reasonable,
and there was such a wide variety of items.
So if you're looking for a gift shop in Seogwipo, Jeju, I highly recommend Annyeong Seongsan : )
