Ever heard of Ppanggomi? It's a charming bear character who loves bread, and his appearance changes based on how "baked" he is – from dough to fermenting, well-baked, and even burnt!
Seriously, this character is unbelievably cute. You'll fall in love!
The pop-up is happening in two exciting phases this September 2026:
Phase 1: Angel-in-us Seokchon Lake DI branch, running through September 16, 2026.

They're offering limited-edition Ppanggomi face-shaped bread and keyrings, so if you're a fan of cute collectibles like me, I highly recommend visiting in person!

4. My Pop-up Review

The Ppanggomi character illustrations themselves are just incredibly, unbelievably cute – I couldn't stop smiling and finding them endearing the whole time!

I ordered two of the special drinks: the Burnt Ppanggomi Choco Crumble Latte and the Burnt Ppanggomi Butter Scotch Latte, and then fully immersed myself in the pop-up experience.

Time for the Lucky Gacha Machine!
I spun it with anticipation, wondering what I'd get, and out popped a cute badge!

I gathered all my goodies – the drinks I ordered, the badge from the lucky gacha, and the illustration stickers – to admire them all together.

The Burnt Ppanggomi Butter Scotch Latte reminded me of an Einspanner.
While it might be a bit strong for those who don't usually drink coffee, it's a wonderfully sweet beverage with a rich coffee aroma.
The crunchy crumbles on top and the creamy foam were delightful, and I found it tasted even better when sipped directly rather than through a straw.

Personally, my favorite was the Burnt Ppanggomi Choco Crumble Latte.
It's a rich chocolate latte, far from any cheap, artificial taste. It has a deep, milky chocolate flavor, making it a perfect sweet treat for those who are sensitive to caffeine.
My visit to the Angel-in-us Ppanggomi pop-up last week was genuinely so much fun! If you're looking for something unique and enjoyable to do in Jamsil, I highly recommend checking it out!
