The road leading to the forest can be quite unpaved and bumpy. The last 3 minutes of the drive are particularly rocky and rough, which might make you second-guess your journey! However, the exit route on the opposite side is much smoother and fully paved.
How to Avoid the Bumpy Road (Paved Route)
To enjoy a fully paved drive, set your navigation system first to "Songdang-ri 1887-1" and then update it to "Songdang-ri 2173". This clever detour will save your rental car from the rough rocks!
This charming spot is the main entrance. You can pay your admission fee at the iconic mint-colored vintage truck.
