The Atmosphere After Checking In

Being nestled near Mt. Hallasan, the air here is incredibly crisp and pure! Visiting on a weekday meant fewer crowds, giving the entire resort a peaceful, exclusive sanctuary vibe.

The cool mountain breeze and natural forest scents made walking around the property an instantly therapeutic experience. Just breathing in the fresh air felt like a complete reset.

What made this room stand out was how much there was to do without even leaving your suite:

1) Cinematic Projector Screen for Netflix Nights

Instead of a standard TV, the room is equipped with a high-definition beam projector. We ordered in some local Jeju delicacies, turned on Netflix, and enjoyed a private cinema night right from our bed!

2) Premium Dyson Hair Dryer

A major luxury detail: the vanity comes stocked with a Dyson hair dryer. It cut down drying time significantly and made styling a breeze. It is these small premium touches that elevate the stay.

3) Nespresso Coffee Machine

An in-room Nespresso machine allows you to brew fresh espresso every morning. While they serve excellent coffee at breakfast, sitting by the window with a fresh cup of coffee while watching the morning fog roll over the mountains is pure bliss.

4) Heated Infinity Pool

The iconic infinity pool has been open since 03/01/2026! It is fully heated, offering an open-air hot spring experience where the air is cool but the water is perfectly warm. The architectural design, which lets you view the pool from the lobby, is absolutely stunning.

Yes, they actually serve fresh abalone for breakfast! The Chalet Buffet at Amber Pure Hill is highly acclaimed, and our breakfast experience exceeded all expectations.

With fresh abalone, tender steaks, and smoked salmon on offer, the buffet feels like a premium dinner service. Breakfast hours are generous, running from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM (extending to 11:00 AM on select days), allowing for a slow, relaxing morning.

Every single dish was masterfully prepared. I am already planning to book their dinner buffet on my next visit!

Tips for Your Private Jacuzzi

The absolute highlight of Amber Pure Hill is the private outdoor jacuzzi provided with each room.

It is highly popular among hikers coming down from Mt. Hallasan, and it is easy to see why. Soaking in warm water under the open sky completely melts away any muscle soreness.

Tip: Because the mountain surroundings get very dark at night, I highly recommend using the jacuzzi during the morning or afternoon to enjoy the forest views and take the best photos!
