63 Sky Picnic Observatory Review 2026: Yeouido Views & Ticket Tips
Looking for a unique Seoul experience? The 63 Sky Picnic Observatory offers breathtaking views and multimedia art. Here's my honest review and discount tips!
The perfect place to visit when it's this hot!
The 63 Building Observatory in Yeouido, Seoul
I visited 63 Sky Picnic!
It's an observatory located at the very top of the 63 Building,
and it opened on June 4, 2026.
Since it hasn't been open for long, it's super neat and clean,
and there aren't many people yet, so now's the time to go!

Having been there, honestly,
I found the 63 Building Observatory to be more enjoyable and better than
the Jamsil Lotte Tower Observatory!
The admission fee felt absolutely worth it... highest satisfaction!
I'll share my review of 63 Sky Picnic, which I visited on June 23, 2026,
along with some fantastic tips for getting discounted tickets and making reservations,
all in detail!
Review of 63 Sky Picnic at the 63 Building Observatory
✔️ Estimated Time: 1 hour
✔️ Route: 1st Floor (ticket exchange, then elevator ride) →
60th Floor (Media Art) → 63rd Floor (Outdoor Observatory) →
60th Floor (Hologram Ball - Souvenir Shop - Starbucks)

The iconic 63 Building in Yeouido!
I'd always seen its golden glow from afar,
but this was my first time actually visiting.
To get to the 63 Building Observatory,
you just need to enter through the Hanwha Pompidou Centre
and look for the 63 Sky Picnic logo.

I bought my ticket in advance on my phone,
and after confirming it at the desk, I received a paper receipt-like ticket
and entered.
* You can get a 10% discount if you purchase on mobile,
and I've listed where to get those discounted tickets at the bottom!

After exchanging my ticket and putting on shoe covers,
I boarded the elevator
and went from the 1st floor to the 60th floor.

Regarding the shoe covers, if you're wearing sneakers, you'll get plastic ones.
If your feet are exposed, like with slippers or sandals,
they'll give you fabric ones, so you can just put them on and go.

After the elevator ride, the first stop was the 60th floor.
As soon as I stepped out, a stunning media art display unfolded before me.
It was so incredibly beautiful, my eyes just lit up and I was thrilled!

What's more, when I visited, there were hardly any people,
which made taking photos much easier and more enjoyable.
I visited on a weekday at 11 AM.

After taking all the photos and videos your heart desires,
the blinds slowly rise, revealing a panoramic view of Seoul.
The combination of a clear, dust-free sky and the Han River was absolutely breathtaking...
You can even spot Jamsil Lotte Tower and Namsan Tower!

Next, I moved to the 63rd-floor rooftop of the 63 Building Observatory.
To go to the observatory, you'll need to take off your shoe covers
and deposit any bags.
Keep in mind that you cannot return to see the media art after this point,
so please consider this for your route!

Leaving your bags and belongings, you'll need to
walk up the stairs directly from the 60th to the 63rd floor.

Once you reach the top, you're greeted by a stunning tower and a helipad,
along with panoramic views of Seoul laid out before your eyes..
The day I visited, the weather was absolutely perfect,
with no fine dust at all, making everything incredibly beautiful!

There's even a fantastic photo spot on the 63rd floor,
where you can capture amazing shots with the Han River in the background.
You absolutely have to get your photo taken here! Haha.

There's also a hammock where you can lie down and feel the breeze,
soaking in the sunshine and just relaxing.
My friends who came with me mentioned that Tokyo's Shibuya Sky
observation deck also has hammocks like this!

Then, as you head back down,
a captivating hologram ball experience zone opens up.
Isn't this like the Summit One Vanderbilt in New York...?
There are giant, bubble-like spheres,
and your photos will turn out absolutely amazing! Haha.
Especially try throwing the balls up into the air
and capture some fantastic videos and photos!

The observation deck's final must-do stop is the souvenir shop.
They sell so many beautiful postcards and merchandise.
I wanted so many things there!
You can even get the photos you took at the 63rd-floor outdoor observatory
printed right here!

Right next to the souvenir shop as you exit,
there's a Starbucks with an absolutely incredible view!
It would be wonderful to grab a coffee and enjoy the scenery before you leave.

We headed straight down to the first floor after that
and had lunch at the food court.
There were so many popular restaurants like Nanpo and Pajak!
