During our recent family trip to Yeongjongdo, we stumbled upon a truly unique and exciting experience that was a blast for everyone.

We found a place that combines the classic fun of balloon popping with the thrill of a shooting range, all in one spot – Top Star Shooting Range!

It’s not your everyday activity, and it really made us feel like we were on a special getaway. It brought back those nostalgic carnival vibes, just like the old-school amusement parks my parents used to take me to!

Where to Find Top Star Shooting Range in Yeongjongdo

This fun spot is located right on Eunhasu-ro, just across the street from Eunhasu Square. It’s super convenient to combine a visit here with other popular Yeongjongdo attractions like Gu-eup Pier, Yeongjongjin Beach, or Seaside Park.

What we loved most was that both the balloon popping and the shooting range are operated in the same venue. This meant we didn't have to pack up and move to another location to enjoy both games, making it a seamless and enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Our Kids' Balloon Popping Adventure

Balloon popping! Doesn’t that just scream old-school carnival fun? You know the vibe, right? It’s exactly that kind of nostalgic charm!

Honestly, as soon as the kids saw the setup, their eyes lit up, and they were begging to play. I initially hesitated, but before I knew it, my son was already standing in front of the owner, aiming at the colorful balloons.

The cost for one cup (which includes 6 throws) is just ~$4!

Even though it’s ~$4 for 6 throws, the owner was incredibly sweet and often gave the kids a few extra chances to throw, letting them really get into it. ♥

It was so adorable to watch them focus, aiming carefully at each balloon.

In the end, even if they didn't hit all six, the owner made sure they got to pick a plush toy, which made the kids absolutely ecstatic!

Receiving a prize after their efforts made them incredibly proud.

Since this isn’t a game you typically find everywhere, it truly felt like we were experiencing something special on our vacation.

Having the shooting range right there too was a huge plus, allowing us to switch between different games and keep the excitement going.

Our Takeaway

Our kids loved it so much they played once after checking in, and then again when we went out for dinner!

Even on their second round, they didn't hit all the targets, but when my child expressed wanting a dolphin plushie, the owner generously let them pick it out.

We were so grateful for their kindness!

The balloon popping experience at Top Star Shooting Range is a rare and unique activity that definitely added a fun highlight to our Yeongjongdo trip.

Leaving with a plush toy in hand, it felt like one of the absolute highlights of their vacation.

Seeing their happy faces, I knew our Yeongjongdo family trip was a complete success! Haha!

While we enjoyed this with our kids, it would also make for a fantastic and memorable date activity! :)
