I had only heard talk of the G-Tower Observatory
but had never actually visited.
This time, I finally made it!

Once inside, on the 1st floor,
if you enter that brightly lit area,
you'll find the IFEZ Promotion Center.
Pass through the blue revolving door on the right
and take the elevator.
Go straight into the elevator and press for the 33rd floor!
To the observatory,
let's go!
The IFEZ (Incheon Free Economic Zone) Promotion Center allows visitors to explore its
history, development process, development plans,
and current project status,
among other things.
It also features a multi-room and an experience zone.
The elevator is seriously fast!
G-Tower is said to be
the heart of this international city, housing the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority,
the GCF (Green Climate Fund), the UN, and other
international organizations.

the outdoor Sky Garden on the 29th floor...

I just found out about the Sky Garden now!;;
I'll definitely have to take the kids there next time!)
Seeing the Entire Songdo Panorama
The reason we came up to the 33rd floor!!
You can take in a panoramic view of Songdo International City.
You can see ALL of Songdo!!
You can see the Incheon Bridge,
construction sites still in progress,
and even the Art Fore area.
(those triangular roofs clustered together)
Central Park and
Songdo's landmark, Posco Tower,
are visible.
This place truly is
a real view paradise!!
(My phone camera just can't capture this amazing view!)
Even with my phone camera, it looks this good!
It made me realize how well Songdo
was planned as a city.

When I traveled to New York back in my younger days (?), I used to wonder,
'What's so special about New York?'
Because, like most major cities,
it just looked like another big city to me.
(Even though it's one of the largest cities in the world.)
So, when I was in New York,
I often asked other friends I met by chance there
about the city.
One of them said,
"New York, despite being a major city planned out in a grid,
has a Central Park of a massive scale that most big cities don't have."
After that, when I finally visited Central Park, my feelings were completely new.
(See? Learning really makes a difference!)
And now, I live in Songdo, which also has a Central Park, haha!
Since it's an observatory, you can walk all around the edges to take in the views.
Canal Walk is also visible.
I haven't been to the Canal Walk area many times yet,
but I do remember visiting it when I first came to Songdo.
The Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter sections
have a foreign feel,
stretching along the artificial lake,
which I found quite fascinating.
IBS Tower is also visible.
That's where Cafe Comma is located.

Multi-Room
Inside, there's also a Multi-Room,
where you can watch videos.
Real-time videos of major cities around the world are playing.
(Looks like it's where IFEZ is located.)
You can also choose to watch promotional videos for IFEZ.
Digital Media & Video Hall
If you go to the other side,
A gigantic LED screen (!)
is showing dazzling videos!
You can watch IFEZ's history and achievements unfold in amazing videos.
(Groovy beats!!)
There are introductions to Incheon's nature,
including the tidal flats of Songdo.
You can also pick up tourist guidebooks
not just in Korean, but in various other languages,
filled with valuable travel information!
It would be fantastic to bring your international friends here!
(I'm even writing this blog post with one of them right now~ tee hee!)
There was also information about IFEZ filming locations.
It looks like many movies and dramas have been shot here!
There's also a virtual reality experience (kids would absolutely love this!)
There's even a display shaped like a giant smartphone,
where you can take fun pictures!
This place was a designated photo zone!!
They say the best time to capture photos at this zone is after 4 PM~
After exploring everything, I walked out and noticed the G Gallery on the side of the first floor,
so I decided to check it out.
There was a coffee shop,
and a gallery too!
G-Tower Cafe, HAEGIN
I just took a quick stroll around,
mostly just to browse.
But prices are important, right?!
(So, of course, I snapped a pic of the menu!)
(You know, just in case I decide to visit again later!)
Seeing the various coffee beans
and the roasting machine tucked away in a corner,
I immediately gathered that this was no ordinary place.
They say it's all about the authenticity of the coffee bean flavor, and truly,
everywhere you look,
this cafe just radiates a genuine passion for coffee!
Right next to the G-Tower cafe, you'll find comfy chairs just waiting for you,
and if you wander a little further, there's even a charming little gallery!
They really designed it as a relaxation space for G-Tower,
and it truly felt so incredibly comfortable and inviting!
It reminded me of a tranquil gallery book cafe—
the perfect spot to quietly dive into a good book
while savoring a delicious cup of coffee.
The gallery itself featured beautiful Minhwa, traditional Korean folk paintings, adding a wonderful cultural touch!
After our delightful exploration, we headed back down to the 1st floor.
Handy tip for any fellow travelers: there's a post office conveniently located on the left side of the G-Tower entrance!
(Just use the left entrance if you need to send something!)
