I recently visited Bultina Grilled Clams, located near Yeongjongdo's Masian Tidal Flat Experience Center.

There are several clam grill restaurants near Masian Beach,

but this one lets you gaze out at the ocean while you dine!

Incheon Airport, Inspire Resort, Paradise City,

and Masian Tidal Flat Experience Center are all very close by!

Exterior & Interior

Bultina Grilled Clams specializes in

seasonal seafood and seasonal grilled clams.

As of April 2025,

they've expanded and relocated to the 2nd and 3rd floors of 205 Masiran-ro!

The interior is quite spacious.

On weekends, you might experience a waiting time of 30 minutes or more.

I saw many families dining there!

Since Naver reservations are available,

I highly recommend booking in advance!

It's right next to Masian Beach,

so you can enjoy your meal while gazing out at the sea.

This is truly the highlight!

The staff are incredibly friendly!

What comes in the "Buttina Everything" Set?

As the name suggests, it's a set that literally comes with a bit of everything! Haha.

A platter of scallops + Assorted clams + Garlic butter shrimp

+ Abalone + Fresh sliced raw fish + Clam soup

Real scallops, various clams, and surf clams are served as a base,

and you can even get unlimited clam refills.

After eating everything,

there was such a generous amount that we didn't even need to order refills! Haha.

Fried shrimp is also served,

A generous portion of fresh sliced raw fish is provided,

and you can also choose to substitute it with steamed oysters.

Makjang sauce is also served with it,

and my husband absolutely loved it.

It's also delicious dipped in cheese!

Each person gets one abalone,

and they are so large and served alive that

you can literally see how fresh they are.

The kids felt a bit sorry for them being alive at first,

but then they happily munched away when it was time to eat! Haha.

The seasoned fan scallops are deliciously spicy,

and the cheese fan scallops are also fantastic.

Since it's a place with an ocean view,

I highly recommend sitting by the window.

The real scallops, clams, and surf clams were all incredibly fresh.

They were plump with meat and had a clean, fresh aroma.

Perhaps because it's right next to Masian Beach,

the freshness of the seafood was distinctly superior.

And they're super big too, lol!

Besides spicy gochujang sauce and soy sauce,

They give you three kinds of sauces,

so it's fun to dip!

I loved that the sauces were spicy, like Cheongyang mayo and Buldak sauce!

We also had grilled garlic butter shrimp~

The shrimp were quite large too!

Unlimited cheese and unlimited tteokbokki, you say?!

It's a self-service, all-you-can-eat style where you cook it yourself!

The sauce was incredibly delicious,

and being able to add cheese made

the kids absolutely love it.

It's a unique combination to have tteokbokki

while eating grilled clams,

but it actually paired really well!

We even made mini pasta!

Even though it was a side dish, it was delicious.

Clam Soup

I was worried the clam soup might be fishy because it had so many clams and mussels,

but the broth was refreshing and had no fishy smell at all.

Honestly, my husband isn't really a big fan of seafood,

so if it has even a hint of fishiness, he really struggles to eat it.

But at Bultina Jogae-gui, he kept saying the broth was

refreshing and ate so much!

That was the most surprising thing.

Can you choose additions for the clam soup?

You can add Kalguksu noodles or Ramyeon noodles

to the clam soup.

We ordered the Kalguksu noodles,

and since they were already cooked, they said we just had to boil them briefly before eating.

The broth was so flavorful

that the Kalguksu noodles were incredibly delicious too!

And after simmering it down, the seasoning was perfect.

It was a family dinner where everyone was satisfied for the first time in a while.

Not only were there clams, but also a variety of side dishes,

so the kids ate really well too!

With the ocean right in front,

we went out for a stroll.

Today was truly a happy

and grateful time!
